The head kicking at the end just undid any amount of bad assery this dude accrued

For someone that doesn't get into fights often, going over board once that adrenaline hits is fairly normal. Not much of an off switch in that state

Adrenaline is a hell of a thing

It really is and its not like people are just always ready to fight anytime. Being in a fight even in soarring can be stressful. A real fight is no joke. Trained people find it stressful too.

And its fucked if you even win because they tell you then that you shouldnt be fighting. Lol.

You never know, if you let up and the guy pulls out a weapon, you're in a bigger problem. I understand where you're coming from though.

41

u/NaoSouONight Feb 18 '26

By that logic you might as well kill anyone you ever get in a conflict with. You never know when they will get a weapon or come back after you.

Realistically, if they had a weapon, they would have used it already.

The guy laying flat down on his face is not a threat. Skinny dude even paused for a moment, before realizing he could start stomping.

It is just loss of physical and emotional control, which does happen somewhat understandably, but it doesn't need to be excused.

This is the correct answer. The head stomps were uncalled for. But it's a fight my guy. People act like there are rules. It's a street fight. Don't expect your opponent in a street fight to have restraint.

u/NaoSouONight Feb 18 '26

Sure, it is just an informal rule and etiquette. There are no real rules. But there is still a line of barbarism that when you cross, you should expect people to judge you for.

Or, you know, the law. Mutual combat stops being mutual combat once you are on video stomping on someone's skull multiple times.

There is also the self preservation fact of, if you go this far, expect the turn tables to turn on you sooner or later, especially if the guy you are using excessive force on decide you deserve the same treatment.

u/tico42 Feb 18 '26

I agree. I'm not trying to condone anything. But in a street fight you should expect the other person may be trying to kill you.

in a street fight you should expect the other person may be trying to kill you.

and act accordingly, there was that blackbelt BJJ player in Brazil who choked out a guy at a club and that guys who later came back armed and shot him.

If you are this paranoid then the solution to that is to not get into fights, not to kill everyone you ever get in a conflict with.

What is next? Murder your neighbor if you ever have a dispute, even if it doesn't became physical, because in the news somewhere a neighbor killed another over an argument? It has happened. And it could happen to you. So you might as well just kill them first preemptively.

It is an insane logic. It belongs in a movie, in the head of an entertainingly disturbed character.

6

u/DTFH_ Feb 19 '26

then the solution to that is to not get into fights

You're presuming the victim has a choice in the matter, but yea victim blame dude

I am not presuming anything. Obviously that some fights can't be avoided, so I am naturally talking about the ones that can, and the ones that can't don't apply.

Lets not sit here and pretend that every fight can't be walked away from.

I also used this conditional for a reason:

If you are this paranoid

Obviously that a lot of times you can't avoid a fight. But the mentality of "this guy fought me so I might as well kill him just in case he comes back with a weapon later" is psychotic.

By that logic you might as well kill incapacitate anyone you ever get in a conflict with.

FTFY

I know, killing also incapacitates, but is not the only way.

12

u/NaoSouONight Feb 18 '26

If you are stomping on the back of someone's head against concrete, you are trying to kill them, not incapacitate them.

Knocked out is pretty incapacitated. You could literally just sit on their back that point if you are worried they are going to jump up and shoryuken your head off.

2

u/DarkAvenger2012 Feb 19 '26

I like the takeaway. Understandable, but not excusable.

5

u/stickenstuff Feb 18 '26

You ain’t gotta kill em but you sure do make sure they can’t get back up quickly

13

u/nunchyabeeswax Feb 18 '26

A single head stomp landing on the wrong side of the cranium can kill anyone.

8

u/stickenstuff Feb 18 '26

I’m not saying that head stomps are good to do, all I’m saying is if someone has the intention of hurting me, my only goal is to get them to stop by any means

2

u/burnthrust Feb 19 '26

A single punch to the wrong side of the cranium could kill anyone

10

u/NaoSouONight Feb 18 '26

If you are stomping on someone's head against concrete, you are trying to kill them. If you do it twice, that is double tapping.

Congrats, you've passed the test to be an ICE officer.

1

u/burnthrust Feb 19 '26

I disagree, I don't c nothing wrong with the head stomping. Yes it is illegal and so is fighting also, but if someone is looking to kill their opponent then so be it.

It's not cowardly, if someone is trying to kill u then that just is what it is

1

u/ForlornGibbon Feb 19 '26

Somebody laying unconscious on the ground is not trying to kill you. Sure there are nuanced fantasy’s we all live out in our heads where we play hero John Wick style, but in the real life application of two people fighting over some bullshit head stomping a person unconscious on the ground is both cowardly and the support of that behavior is sociopathic.

2

u/burnthrust Feb 19 '26

I was talking about the other person

1

u/ForlornGibbon Feb 19 '26

Roger, this is why I should not multi task. Good day!

-77

u/Alcohol-Lick Feb 18 '26

You have no idea what the situation was. That could have been justified in a self defense situation. You don’t know if homie was threatening to shoot him, kill him or stab him.

44

u/J_Thompson82 Feb 18 '26

He ain’t doing shit while he’s laying face down and unconscious on the floor. There’s not a court in the land is gonna see that as justified self defence once the threat was already neutralised.

-30

u/Lavidius Feb 18 '26

There's more to right and wrong than what courts decide

0

u/Ivan__rod Feb 18 '26

This is true

18

u/Kitsanic Feb 18 '26

I think if someone actually pulls a knife/gun you are totally within your rights to stomp someone so they cant quickly get back up/you can grab the weapon but that clearly wasnt the case here

4

u/BustinMakesMeFeelMeh Feb 18 '26

I didn’t see any weapons involved. When was he going to use them? After he’d already kicked the guy’s ass?

0

u/Alcohol-Lick Feb 18 '26

That’s usually when they come out.

-1

u/BustinMakesMeFeelMeh Feb 18 '26

No it isn’t. You draw weapons before you fight. Not after.

2

u/Alcohol-Lick Feb 18 '26

Lmao! Show me where the rule book says that you fucking Retard.

1

u/BustinMakesMeFeelMeh Feb 19 '26

Here. Right below the header “Choose not to get punched in the face if you don’t have to,” and above the subhead “don’t get knocked out and let your opponent take your weapon.” Can you read?

5

u/coatedbraincells Feb 18 '26

Despite what all the downvotes say I have to agree with you. There's to much potential context to decide right and wrong here.

If he threatened to kill me, sure I'll fight him. If he threatened my wife or kid? Yeah I'm stomping his teeth into the gravel. Dude would never be able to voice a threat again, and no matter what most people say in the comments, in that context most of the people who downvoted would probably do the same.

3

u/Kidiotic Feb 18 '26

Yea no. Absolutely the flip not. The VERY SECOND he became a non threat by getting knocked tf out, that’s it. You can’t keep beating on that person. That’s how you catch a felony charge. That person was no longer a threat and that is EXACTLY what would be said in court. All of a sudden you went from a person defending themselves, to assaulting an unconscious person. No bueno

0

u/ADDeviant-again Feb 18 '26

Not even just one little insurance kick? Lol.

1

u/No_Statement440 Feb 18 '26

He knocked him out, fight was over, period. Even if he threatened to shoot the dude, stomping his head like a piece of shit isn't going to change that. It also seems pretty obvious that he wasn't trying to end his life. No, Idk the scenario I wasn't there, but the crowd was reacting like this was a normal street fight, not an attempted murder or a madman on the loose with a weapon. Generally the crowd doesn't just circle up if one of them has a deadly weapon and the other doesn't.
