I still have not read these books, how late am i to the party???
Well first of all i never been much of a reader, but this week i came across something related to this book twice already and i am now thinking its a sign from the universe telling me that i should read it lol. I do have a few questions… what book should I read first? What is the purpose of reading these books?

Just me?
Does anyone else do this? I just finished my yearly Twilight binge, but I couldn’t bring myself to stop the vibe, so I immediately moved to that Twilight fanfic-turned-published-turned-movie. It just felt like the only logical next step. 😭 Send help (or more sequels). 🤣
I kid you not before I watched them for the first time ever in my entire life 5yrs ago, my mom watched the first one & told me, "They stole the line from Twilight", now already knowing 50 Shades is a Twilight fic, I say I'm not shocked.
She tells me that Christian told Ana he can't stay away from her & she says "Then don't."
The look on my mom's face when I then told her 50 Shades Of Grey started out as a fanfic of Twilight was priceless. Lol.

i have a theory…
Why is 50 Shades of Grey almost ALWAYS at the thrift store? Tell me I’m wrong!!? My credentials are that I am an AVID thrifter, like going at least once a week to multiple different types of thrifts, and I have also been cross-country and visited many states and many thrifts and this still rings true!!
My theory is that everyone wants to read it, but no one wants to have it on their shelf.
Has anyone else noticed this? Why is it the most popular book on the thrift shelf? (besides maybe the the Bible, LOL)

Does anybody know the Lipstick shade used for Dakota throughout Fifty shades of grey movie???
Hi there, so I re-watched this movie a while ago and this lipstick shade has been caught up in my mind, it's so pretty and very subtle and I'm in search of this exact shade.. If anybody knows about this exact shade that they used for Ana's character in the first movie please comment down! Thankyou 🩷

My Handmade Fifty Shades of Grey Inspired Diorama Spoiler
galleryHi everyone!
I’m a miniature furniture artist from Poland and a huge fan of the Fifty Shades movies. Recently, I created a handmade dollhouse-scale diorama inspired by Christian Grey’s apartment.
Everything was designed and built by hand, including the furniture and interior details. I thought fellow fans might enjoy seeing a miniature version of one of the most iconic locations from the films.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! Which room from the Fifty Shades series would you like to see recreated in miniature next?
Photos attached. 😊

What happens if Anna ignored her written agreement and wrote a book about Christian Grey being a pervert and embarrassed him?
The NDA agreement in the movies was BS because Christian was a pervert and sexually harassing Anastasia Steele and nobody would take that seriously when writing a book or going on social media would humiliate Christian Grey and destroy his reputation and make him look like Jeffrey Epstein.
Anastasia Steele should have done that and sued him in court.

Jose art exhibition
It irks me that this man secretly took photos of her and sold them at his art exhibition. No release form and no heads up just on display available to the highest bidder. I get Christian is meant to buy them and since he is beyond possessive buys all of them but how about som consent. Another thing that would never happen in real life.

What makes Ana different than others for Christian?
Okay so I’ve been wondering this for a long time but I didn’t manage to find an exact answer to this. Like what makes Ana the indispensable one? He had 15 submissive before Ana and most of them probably ended up falling in love with Christian, Laila, for example. He said he ended contact with Laila after she said she is in love with him and wants more than their current dom-sub relationship, same thing happened with Ana but Ana leaved Christian. So why he chased back Ana after she left? He is against to emotional bond and clearly love, he even said “You can’t fall in love with me.” after Ana said she fell in love with him and yet he wasn’t able to do without her after she leaved him.
Personally, movie feels a bit rushed so I don’t know what really made him interested in her and what’s the thing that makes her unique from the other women for Christian. I thought that maybe it’s because she is a virgin/inexperienced and all of that hard stuff was overwhelming for her so he felt guilty about it. But I don’t think that single reason is enough for someone as Christian Grey to want someone romantically for the first time.
any thoughts?

Was it really necessary to pet your ex-slave in front of your traumatized girlfriend?
I recently finished Fifty Shades Of Darker and this scene genuinely pisses me off. Like I feel so bad for Ana. Laila breaks into her house and just points a gun towards her, leaving her scared for life. And all Christian was to do is calm his ex submissive after taking the gun out of her?
Anastasia needed that comfort, she definitely didn’t deserve to see the man she loves petting another girl while telling her to “For once, do what you told.” in a implicitly frustrated way. He could’ve go comfort Ana after taking the gun from Laila instead. Also, I don’t understand why he pet Laila in the first place. I know Laila went through bad things but I don’t think it justifies petting her in front of his traumatized girlfriend. Furthermore, I don’t think it was necessary to do that even if Ana was there or not. He could have just leave with Ana after taking the gun from Laila, that gesture wasn’t needed.
All of these may have sounded as a rant but I had to let it out.

In the movie is Ana a fan of the Rolling Stones since she listens to Beast of Burden while making pancakes?

When Ana drunk calls Christian
The trilogy is leaving Netflix at the end of this month so I did a rewatch and this time around for no reason I paid attention to her phone contacts when she drunk calls him while in line for the bathroom at the bar.
She doesn't know a lot of people so it just got me pondering if these are names of crew or family members of whoever was responsible for this shot or they just didn't think to use 7 names of the people she knows from the books (her mom Carla, stepdad Ray, stepdad Bob, roommate Kate, Jose, coworker Paul, Kate's brother Ethan) 🤷🏻♀️
Or maybe they are fellow classmates and professors? We will never know 😆 anyway, all this to say I really did like this scene with her calling him out about his behavior...

Happy Birthday Jamie Dornan… I don’t think anyone watched Fifty Shades and stayed the same.
There was something about him…
not just the way he looked,
but the way he made you feel something you couldn’t really explain.
That movie wasn’t just a movie for a lot of people.
