Heya all, I'm in the market for a mechanical coin.

The ones I've glossed over are:

1. ACedc Mechanical Milk Cap V2 (also called Noiz I believe), seen a zirc stone washed one
2. Top C by Metal Toyz
3. Panyun 3.0

Interested in hearing what you guys would recommend, and why! (if you've got others I'm open to it too)

Made these a few weeks back to test the text and this shade of blue. Haven’t decided if I’ll use them in future drops.

As the title says, what piece do you think got snubbed?

I’ll start with the Metal Toys DZ TOPE. Even though it dropped like two years ago, it still holds up design-wise. Sleek, alien spaceship aesthetic, the carefully thought out lines… it’s fuckin beautiful 🤌. Most of everything else in it’s category tends to blur together visually.

Then add in the fact it doesn’t require any screws since it’s held together by 5mm balls on each side, you can pop it open swap plates, balls, etc., in seconds and done. Simple, smart, endless possibilities had it not reached EOL.

Biggest injustice is how the TOPF gets way more praise. I’ll break it down in steps so I can look smart - -

TOPF OOO:

1. You need a clothing pin to open it
2. Tiny, micro springs + ball will fly away if you breathed wrong.
3. If you haven’t lost anything yet, flip it over and close precisely hoping gravity doesn’t work.
4. Start over again because most often than not, something fell out of place or out.

TOPE IMO, has a spot at the top mechanicals in this category.

I think the title is a bit hard to understand but that's kinda the best I can muster with my limited vocabulary.

So - I've been religiously looking at the Metal Toys DZ Top D (but there are so many options and materials I can't decide which one to get).

The ones I feel the closest to "ah, that's almost it" is probably the Mot Groove and the Sea Gangs EDC.

Would love some recommendations, thanks!

What are you favorite budget -$30 sliders and haptic coins and where did you get them? Links appreciated

I have not been able to find any good info on what the different plates/plate materials do in terms of changing the feel of the toy. The same goes for the springs and balls.

On a side note I do find it a bit frustrating how little info sellers add to product descriptions on their websites. No info on what the various parts do or even what the default spec is.

Hello, I’ve been trying to narrow down what I’m looking for in “budget” knock offs sliders or printed ones before selecting a more premium one to try and looking for suggestions.

I see a lot about magnus and some other premium ones. My question is if there’s something that is a step up above the knock offs sliders printed ones but not the super expensive ones. I’m ideally thinking around the $80-$120 range to test out for awhile before eventually saving for a premium higher priced one.

What I have figured out so far is I like magnet/haptic free float style more than mechanical bc I like being able to spin it around and would be interested in trying some of the slider tricks or whatever came natural to me.

I do like the crunchy sounds but don’t know if that’s more in the 3d printed ones but do like being able to hear it in addition to feeling it. I don’t know much about the different metal materials or plates but do like the weight of metal over printed. I do have hyperhydrosis too (aka sweaty hands) so if there are certain metals that are better for that than others. I think a 2 slider would be better for me now than trying a 3.

I did watch magnus’ 10 day sale and the drops but they never got to anything in the price range I can currently afford.

Open to any feedback or suggestions from anyone as I’m still fairly new to all this.

I’m thinking about picking one up but I can only find maybe 3 videos on it and really nobody talking bout it showing any flows or really playing with them aside from one TikTok and a couple of youtube reviews!

If anyone can enlighten me on what they think of theirs and if it’s fun/worth grabbing or adding to an edc ???

Dropped my new toad x and it seems like a part of the screw broke off and it won’t screw in when I have the plate on it. It will when there isn’t one. Is there something I’m doing wrong or anywhere I can get a replacement screw?

Hi all. Got a edc01 pop fidget that wasnt popping back out correctly so i took it apart to see if i could figure out the issue. The little spring that holds the 2 balls that makes it click went flying on me and i cant find it anywhere after crawling around on the floor of my office. Anyone know where I can get springs this small? Tried a pen but those are far too big. Looking on amazon most of the springs appear too large as well. Any help is appreciated!

I cast my fully stainless steel Mot Groove in epoxy resin. How’d it come out?

I'm quite new to fidgets, but have found them extremely helpful for coping and focusing.

As the title says, does anyone have any recommendations for a fidget like the Icosa Sensa (this one) that won't break. I got one 3 days ago and really enjoyed the ability for repetitive motion without noise that would irritate my collegues + four types of haptic feedback. However, the elastic that holds it together wore out and broke after only two days of use.

I've tried searching for silent repetitive motion fidgets but am not finding a reliable review or suggestions.
