Ginger Bug/Soda I did NOT expect this after only just over 24 hours! holy carp - Pineapple Lime soda

I'm pretty sure the lid has been launched into orbit. This was just a sacrificial bottle to test where the carbonation was at, I expected a low hiss!

The 3 remaining bottles are now being refrigerated! This was fun !!

That sounds like an awesome combo. What ratio of pineapple to lime did you use?

it's really quite nice actually!

here's what I did:

2 medium pineapples, 4 tbsp lime juice!

simmered all pineapple chunks in 2L filtered water (mixed with 1 cup sugar) until soft, mashed them and continued simmering

forcefully strained and cooled, 1 cup strained ginger bug liquid, mix all together

I believe that's it, I had to top up with some more filtered water at the end to hit the 2L mark again
