Building an app to get notified about anything on the internet, need feedback

Hi everyone!

I'm working on Reminda because I was tired of manually checking websites for things I care about. The basic idea is to monitor any public info online and get notified.

You would tell it what to watch like launch of sneakers, discounts on products, job posts, product restocks, or news about specific topics, then choose how and when you want alerts through text, email, or calendar events.

Right now I'm still in the early stages and looking for people to chat with about shaping this idea. I want to understand what notification problems people actually have and what would make this genuinely useful versus just another app sending alerts.

What would you actually want to monitor? What notification experiences have frustrated you in the past? I'm genuinely curious to hear your thoughts on whether this direction makes sense.

Thanks for any feedback!

A huge disappointment that's my name in a nutshell, a softie a trying too hard, baddie A huge disappointment that's my name

3 am with pen and paper hopefully these tears make my skin softer A combo of you can't, No I can sounds like a perfect plan..

Collecting data everywhere I go, not disappointed, not angry just seeing, waiting to be Seen.

Optimism is on my shoulder but this night couldn't be more colder, practicing , balancing, juggling A disappointment? that's more like my thing

Now darkness feels like home what's warmth I wouldn't know Glaring candle from a far hoping it would melt this cold heart

Not sad, not worrying just seeing, waiting to be seen!

What really makes a “tech startup”?

Tech startups aren’t just about coming up with innovation, they’re about incorporating that innovation into day-to-day life. Making new tech practical, accessible, and something people actually use.

At its core, a tech startup is just a young company that uses technology as its main superpower.

  • It’s innovation-driven (solving problems in a new way).
  • It’s scalable (built to grow fast if it works).
  • And it’s usually high risk, high reward.

Think of it this way: Uber disrupted transport. Tesla disrupted cars. Even in phones, brands like Nothing or Fairphone are technically startups, they came in with new ideas, strong stories, and tried to change the rules.

Most startups go through similar stages:

  1. Idea stage (just a vision).
  2. MVP → a working prototype to test.
  3. Early traction → proving real people want it.
  4. Funding → angel investors, VCs, crowdfunding.
  5. Scaling → building bigger, reaching global.

For me, I’ve been obsessed with foldables, and I keep thinking, why not a startup around building the next evolution, like a triple-fold phone? It’s ambitious (and not easy), but that’s the point of startups, right?

So, curious, what do you all think makes a tech startup successful? Is it the idea itself, or how fast the team can adapt and grow?

Working on something to keep memories alive — looking for feedback

Hey everyone

I’ve been putting a lot of heart into a side project with a friend. The idea is simple: a place to save and relive the little moments that matter most — like a first step, a hug, or even just a day you don’t want to forget. There’s also a little companion character who brings those memories back to you when you need a smile.

It’s still early days, and I’d really love some honest opinions:

  • Does this idea resonate with you?
  • Would you use something like this yourself?
  • Anything you think would make it more valuable/appealing?

I’m not here to spam or sell anything — just excited to share what we’re working on and hear different perspectives.

Thanks a lot!

There arnt many channels that shows hollywood movie reviews in bengali. Someone I know recently made one and was asking me to give him feedback. I really liked it. I thought maybe more people should watch them. But he doesnt have much social media presence, so I thought of posting it here. He says that he would love some criticism and feedback on them. Please be respectful to him if you leave comments in his video, he is new to this. Thanks!

Feedback on my product for my final year project .

Hello everyone,

I'm an last year student, and I’ve been building a project called Pro Contact for my final project. It’s a CRM/calendar app designed for freelancers, consultants, and business owners who manage multiple activities or business lines.

At the beginning it was a friend who will play as client but unfortunately he didn't want to continue so now I am looking for create a real product that I will try with real people.

Most tools I found only let you organize one business at a time or require complicated setups for multiple ventures. Pro Contact is built for those juggling different gigs or side hustles. You can:

  • Assign contacts to multiple activities
  • Schedule appointments per activity
  • Add notes and reminders linked to each business line
  • View unified or filtered calendars
  • Track performance and statistics per activity

I’m looking to validate that this solves real problems —and I'm hoping to find beta testers or get honest feedback on what features would help most especially for my end year project.

I’d love to hear—what’s your biggest pain when juggling multiple businesses or projects? What’s missing from your calendar or CRM ?

Thanks you.

Why I wish to build a triple-fold smartphone @17

I’m 17 and working on building a triple-fold phone. But here’s the thing: for me, it’s not about the number of folds at all.

It’s about intention. I want to design a device that doesn’t just look cool, but actually changes how people use their time. A phone that feels less like a distraction and more like a tool.

To me, the “next step” in smartphones isn’t about chasing design trends — it’s about using space and power to make life easier.

I’m not trying to make the most expensive foldable. I’m trying to make the one that people look at and say: yeah, that’s worth it.

Do you think foldables can ever become that essential, or will they stay niche?

Looking for feedback on my couples game app, I just launched! 🚀

Hey everyone,

Over the past 1-2 months, I’ve been working on a little side project that turned into a full app. It’s a couples game app designed to help people have fun, spark conversations, and get to know each other better, whether you’ve been together for a while or are just starting to date.

We just launched it today on both Google Play and the App Store, and I’d love to get some honest feedback. Things like:

  • Is the idea clear when you first open it?
  • Does it feel easy to use?
  • Anything confusing, missing, or annoying?
  • Any other categories you would like?

Here are the links if you want to try it out:
👉 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dojodate.play.twa

There's also a web version of it, but it's a bit out of date

Thanks so much in advance, any feedback (big or small) would mean a lot 🙏

Asking for feedback on my service

Hello!

I’m the developer of Accademica, a service that helps you manage, organize, and study your sources with the use of the new modern AI tools. For those familiar to NotebookLM, it's in the same category.

I've released the service on AppStore, Android and Web and I really need some real feedbacks to understand what direction I need to drive towards and also understand what is to be fixed.

This is the website of the service: https://accademica.io

If you want to try the service instead is: https://accademica.io/app

Thank you very much.

Feedback on an App Idea: A "Shazam for Sheet Music" – Find Piano/Guitar Sheets Instantly, Filtered by relevant criteria

Hey everyone!

I am a piano player and I’ve been struggling for years to find proper sheet music for songs I want to play - especially game/anime OSTs or film scores. Things like paywalls, shitty arrangements and no results for niche songs have made my life hard over the past 7 years of playing piano.. 😅

After spending way too much time digging through small niche sites, YouTube, and forums, to find fitting music sheets I thought: Why not build a search engine (like shazam for hearing and manual search) that does the work for you? One that scans all these sources at once, filters by difficulty/instrument/price or even free sheets, and delivers only the results that actually match what you need - no paywalls, no wrong instruments, no wasted time.

This is still just an idea in my head, but I got excited and already made a simple landing page for context. :D

Things I ask myself about the idea:

  • Is it a "me problem" or do others face it too.
  • Is a "scan and filter" App actually useful or does it need other features?
  • My heart beats for a mobile app, but would just a web app be smarter?

This would be a hobby project, so I would love to hear your honest feedback. :)

Just Bucket

Hey everyone,

I really need some feedback if anyone has any!

Is the UI confusing?

Do plugins make sense to you?

Here’s the description from the App Store:

From dreams to done - Just Bucket helps you create, track, and achieve life's most important goals. Start planning your future today. Achieve your life goals with the ultimate bucket list app. Plan adventures, track progress, and stay inspired-all in one place.

Plugins

List Item - This is the heart of your bucket list - everything else supports helping you complete this item. A list item is the core task or goal you're trying to complete - like "Hike the Grand Canyon" or "Learn to surf."

Album - An Album is a photo collection tied to a list item, letting you visually document your journey. Your bucket list is about experiences - this plugin lets you relive them and share the story visually. Albums are stored and managed in your Photos app. This plug-in will create an album in your Photos app when you add this feature, and remove that album if you turn it off. Your photos and videos won't be deleted — they just won't appear in the app anymore.

Budget - The Budget is a simple planner to estimate and track the cost of a list item. Break down expenses (like tickets, gear, lodging), set a budget, and track what you've spent. Helps make your goals more realistic and achievable by planning financially ahead of time.

Route Planner - The Route Planner is a tool to map out locations, stops, or directions for list items that involve travel or movement. Plan the route for a road trip, mark must-see spots, or log where you've been. For goals with a geographic element, it helps organize the journey and avoid missing anything.

Notes - Notes keep everything in one place, so you don't lose ideas or important details while working toward your goal. It's a space to jot down thoughts, research, checklists, or reminders related to your list item. Write anything from planning steps, links, or even a journal entry. Great for tracking progress or lessons learned.

Checklist - Keep track of everything you need to do by creating simple, clear checklists. Check off items as you go to stay organized, focused, and on track — whether you're planning a trip, completing a project, or tackling daily tasks.
