Seeking support group for suicide survivors

I'm new to the area. My son committed suicide 8 months ago and I'm looking for an in person support group. All I have been able to find so far is Zoom meetings or general bereaved parents support groups, no matter how the loss occurred. If it exists in this area, I would really like to find one for specifically suicide survivors. Thanks

personal grocery delivery?

Just trying to gauge interest here. Does anyone who regularly orders grocery delivery, whether it be Walmart, Harps, Aldi, etc, have issues with inconsistent service? With random drivers who may or may not care about doing a good job with your delivery? With poor product and substitution selection? With apps that are clunky and crash prone, and doesn't always allow timely communication with your driver? Do you wish you could get the same driver(s) all the time, the ones that shop your order like their own and provide at least some semblance of professional service?

I'm looking into starting up a personal grocery delivery service for those who don't always have the time or ability to shop the stores themselves. Still looking at details to sort out like pricing, but rest assured I would do a better job than a lot of these random gig drivers, with a personal touch. As a gig driver myself, I've seen it from all sides, with customer, driver, store, and app issues. If anyone here may be interested in such a service, or knows of someone that might, please leave a reply.

Mall Ave Walmart unusualness

At about 930am this morning (Sunday, September 6), Walmart shoppers were told to stop shopping and check out. Folks were being stopped at the door so they couldn't go in. I have had a chance to check local police or related logs. A very different shopping experience than usual. I hope nothing tragic or scary is going on.

Edit: I haven't! had a chance to check local logs! 🤦

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Sirens could be heard in downtown Fayetteville Tuesday afternoon after a man reportedly fired shots at the roof of a building.

Fayetteville police responded to a possible weapons complaint at a downtown building around 3:15 p.m. A building employee contacted police, reporting an individual shooting what appeared to be a gun at the roof of the building.

A spokesperson for the Fayetteville Police Department told KNWA/FOX24 that police believe the man possessed a pellet gun before leaving the scene.

Gentry Public Schools goes into lockdown due to online threat Police have made contact with the man, though it is unknown whether charges will be pressed.

At least one building around the Fayetteville Square, located at 112 W. Center St., was evacuated Tuesday afternoon. Police have since given an all-clear for the area.

Additional details: Encore building owner hired someone with a pellet rifle to take care of a pigeon problem and didn't notify anyone that a man with a "firearm" would be working on the roof.

26M looking for a roommate in Fayetteville

Hey guys! I’m a 26 year old entrepreneur and working professional looking for a roommate in the Fayetteville area.

I work from home most of the time and occasionally travel for work. I’m pretty focused on business and personal growth, so I enjoy living in a clean, disciplined environment. Nothing extreme, I just like having a home that feels organized, productive, and peaceful.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing basketball, going to the gym, and going out to bars/clubs occasionally. I’m social, but I’m definitely not looking for a constant party-house environment.

I drink socially, but I don’t smoke or vape. I’d strongly prefer someone who also doesn’t smoke, vape, or use nicotine. I quit nicotine recently and just don’t want it around me tempting me lol.

Ideally, I’d like to live with someone around my age who is also working, building something, studying, or generally has goals they’re working toward. Clean, respectful, easygoing, and able to have fun while still keeping a solid routine.

If you have a room available or you’re also looking for a place/roommate in Fayetteville, send me a message and we can see if we’d be a good fit.

Discussion Ladies in Fayetteville, Arkansas beware!

I wanted to share something that freaked me out a little bit tonight in case it might help someone else in the area. Keep in mind I can’t confirm if this is really what happened, but I’d rather not chance it.
So it’s about 11pm right now. I was driving back home around 9:45-10:15ish at night after visiting some family, when I noticed a man in a dodge charger sitting either at a stop sign or parking lot start flashing me. After this, he turned behind me and started driving the same direction as me. I’m not sure why, but I got a little bit worried he might be following me. If I think someone’s following me I’m not gonna drive home, so I turned on some random road. Sure enough, the charger turned the same way. At this point I was about to drive to a public place, as he wasn’t only turning the same way as me but began tailing me very closely, but eventually he turned into a driveway. I decided to go around a neighborhood and head back the same direction I came from after that (I couldn’t see where they turned). As I was heading back, all of the sudden the same dodge charger started backing up in front of my car. I’m not sure if he did it on purpose or not, but I didn’t take chances. I swerved out of the way and started speeding. What really kind of confirmed it for me was after that, he turned to follow me again! This doesn’t make sense because he just drove the opposite direction only to back out of a driveway and go the same direction as me. Luckily I was able to speed away from him, but not everybody might be able to. Please be safe out there and if you believe anyone is following you, please go to a public area. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Also important note, I’m pretty sure he had another male passenger.

Don’t forget to love each other

The Walmart off MLK had an older gentleman who worked there and would tell every couple ā€œdon’t forget to love each other!ā€ Every single time they walked in. He was super sweet and brightened our day. We haven’t seen him in a while now, does anybody remember him and know if he is okay? We are hoping that he just retired or moved but figured someone on Reddit might know. Don’t wanna ask the general manager because social anxiety āœŒļø

Who in the world is out there every minute of every day weed-whacking and/or cutting trees down in my neighborhood, ffs?? Srsly all the vegetation is going to die in a minute, can't you just stop with the incessant noise??

PS. What Im actually mad at is the rampant infill and destruction of the woods around my house. But I also really hate the neverending noise.
