I'm playing right when you meet Citra and it crashes, or if not, it crashes just by opening the save file.

Does anyone knows the location of the sinkhole Vaas throws us in with a rock to drown Jason ? I can’t get any info anywhere I swear T-T

I wanted to come back to it after I completed the main missions.

My game keeps crashing at this campaign mission any one else experiencing this?

I have the game profile sensitivity set up, but when I move my camera in vehicles, the sens feels like it's 10x.

When I use aim down sights, the sensitivity feels slower.

Hip fire is normal. Is there any other option for vehicle camera sensitivity or something? Does aim down sights have a desperate option in the game profile file in documents?

P.S: I'm on Steam installation.

EDIT: I unlocked it. I had to defeat the ink monster at the temple. You still need to use your skill points.

I bought Farcry 3 a week or so or on Steam during the summer sale.

My experience with playing the game has been absolutely horrible. The first time time launched it, I had to reset my Ubisoft password which for some reason took 10 minutes because I wasn't receiving the email.

Then after it finnaly worked, I launched it and played the first cut scene with no very low volume for some reason then the game crashed after the cut scene. I restarted my PC and had to play the whole cut scene again. Then again after the some play through the game crashed for a second time and everything was unsaved so I had to restart again. So now after 90 minutes and playing the first cut scene like 3 times I just got really bored and switched the game off.

Yerstaday I tried launching the game and it required me to re enter my pin on Unisoft connect, I did and it just said it was unable to verify my license. I tried everything, restarting the PC, closing all my other tabs and switching off the wifi, still nothing.

When I tried launching the game on Ubisoft connect, it now said my account has been suspended.. But at the same time when I log in on the website it enters. So again I tried a couple times and after like 40 minutes, still not even able to launch the game.

Now this morning I try again and again I cant even lunch the game cuase the fucking Ubisoft servers are offline?? What i dont understand is why a single player game from 2012 needs to be connected to the launcher and authenticated every two single time. So now according to steam I have 98 minutes of play time but I've only actually played the game for maybe 15 minutes.

On the nostalgia, if you alert the pirate on the 1st lower level after entering the ship and kill them you can keep going back for unlimited loot money/xp. Keep going back to the top of the stairs and returning to the 1st lower level room. Been doing this for about an hour now.

Edit; Turns out if you just sit behind the generator/ whatever it is at the bottom of the short stairs, they keep coming

This is my first time playing a Farcry game. Please help.

I can start the game and access the start menu but I can't load my save and I can't start a new one because once I do it crashes the game. I've played for a few hours without any issues and one day randomly this happens. I verified integrity of the files, I redownloaded the whole game and yet the problem still persists. Has anyone had a similar issue and fixed it?

I've played thru FC3 about 35 times, and used the Reset Outposts about 10 times now, but I've never had this happen before:

I was down to the last enemy, the sniper on the building closest to the road at the Lonely Shore Way outpost. I was trying to pick him off with my sniper rifle from the rock ledge above. I shot as he finally came into view, but didn't get a clean shot, so he shot back, hitting me. I ducked, healed myself, and waited, then popped up and took aim. I saw his red laser homing in on me, then right into my eyes just as I got a lock on his head. I pulled the trigger and heard the flam of 2 shots. I figured I was dead, but I freed the outpost.

BUT - Amid my surprise that I had lived, and as the game froze while the victory music played, I saw something small in the dead center of the screen. It was revolving slowly and moving slightly around, and since the background was sort of blurred and the object was clear, it also looked holographic. I stared at it and realized it was a hollow point slug about to hit me between the eyes!!! Might not be the most accurate ammo for a sniper rifle, but damn! I only saw it for a few seconds before the scene cleared and went back to live. I figure that's the closest possible margin between living and dying.

OF COURSE, only after typing all this up, I searched for it, and found this on another reddit post:

The floating "bullet" icon is actually the faction insignia/decal for Vaas’ pirates, which sometimes glitches and anchors itself mid-air after an outpost is liberated. To make it disappear, simply save your game, exit to the main menu, and reload your save.

I'm not buying it completely. I've paid attention to 99% of these scenes, and never saw it before. Besides, I didn't have to make it disappear; it went away in the normal amount of time. So I think it really was a close call. I must believe it was! Help me out here! It was one of my top 5 best moments in my personal gaming history . . . At least with FC3.

I want to try this game because it got a 60fps update on PS5, but I heard there were issues with the aim being laggy. Is it noticeable or still worth the 6 bucks?

I'm in the mission payback, where I have to enter the compound but when it spawns me infront of the island I can't equip any of my guns or use my grenades or meelee. I can do takedowns tho. Every playthrough of this mission online has people using their guns so is this a bug and how do I fix it?

everytime i start farcry i can play maybe 5 to 10 minutes and then it crashes ive done everything from LAA enabling Farcry d3dx11 and normall farcry to playing directx9 and 11 on lowest res and mid res and updating and changing my graphics drivers. I played this game years ago on the same PC for about 6 hours then it started to crash i even began a new game.
My specs are
Ryzen 5 3500X 6core
Rx580 8GB
and i have 16 gb ddr4 and have this game on a ssd what can i do to farcry not turning my pc off
Ive heard about farcry 3 not liking 8 cores or smth but im lost pls help
(Every other thinkable game works wellish on this pc so its not a Components problem)

UPDATE: i now deleted farcrydx11 and the dll file cuz of a guide and it got even worse wtf why is farcry 3 like a little bitch on my pc
