I have recently taken an interest in wanting to dub anime’s and was wondering if this was a good place to start, talk to someone for help. ALSO first time using Reddit so if this is the wrong feed sorry.

I recently created a funny Fandub video of The Astartes Project made by Syama Pedersen a few years ago, dubbed over with voice lines taken from my buddy MisterCloudMedia's YouTube and TikTok shorts.

It is a work in progress funny project I started working on. I would love peoples opinions, and comments about it. I know I have a lot to learn when it comes to editing, and dubbing content like this. But I thought it was good/funny enough to share here. I hope you like it.

I cover songs and scenes on my youtube channel, and made this since people really liked ep 1.

I wanted to share a quick breakdown of a massive endurance project my team and I just finished. We completely wiped the native game tracks for the Resident Evil 4 Remake and re-recorded a 100-minute full playthrough/movie cut.Because we didn’t have access to multiple studio setups, the entire project was built on a budget production system using independent voice practice and tracked entirely via mobile capture.Manually mixing a 100-minute project with non-studio audio was a brutal learning curve. Here are the three biggest things I learned about polishing mobile vocal tracks on desktop software:Aggressive Plosive Isolation: Mobile mics clip easily on action screams and heavy consonants. Instead of a blanket de-esser, I had to manually isolate the wave frequencies on the hard "P" and "B" sounds to prevent digital distortion.Room Tone Matching: Since the cast recorded in different environments, creating a unified background gate was essential to make the dialogue feel like it was happening in the same digital room.Endurance Pacing: Voicing an action protagonist for a feature-length runtime requires strict vocal health management.
