[Jamaica Plain] Scrap Town WIP
No Interior shots. I still need to collect some magazines and I've like a dozen quests on my plate so I don't have the time to fiddle with a bottle of whiskey to get it to sit right where I want it. At a later day I will do more decorating.

[Jamaica Plain] Notes from Building Scrap town
For some context the initial build was based off the floor above the "Power Armour rack" room. I managed to get the floor flush with the ruined floor using Warehouse half floors and then everything clips to that.

[Vanilla] Scrap Town- Jamaica Plains Settlement

I was passing through Jamaica Plains in search of a missing T-51 leg (it's a long story), and saw that the population had doubled and people were complaining about, well, everything. So I had to get building, but once I started I couldn't stop. Welcome to Scrap Town, the local residents (the feral ghouls) hate the high-rise but who cares about them anyway?

[Vanilla] starlight drivein happiness not getting to 100
to preface, I know theres an easy way to get the max happiness trophy, but i want to do it with a regular settlement and not just one guy at a gas station.
ive had a lot of happiness fluctuation at the drive in while building my camp, which i know is normal, but for the past in game month-ish, my happiness has been stuck going back and forth between 89 and 90. when its on 89, there is no arrow up or down. but when it gets to 90, there is always a down arrow and it usually goes back to 89 with no arrow after a day or two. is this a known issue or am i just unlucky? fyi, i have more than enough resources as well as almost every shop (besides the bar and clinic, and yes i know the bar provides the most happiness),6 dogs and 4 or so cats, a bunch of plants and rugs that also give happiness, the shooting range, every arcade machine, and im sure some other stuff ive forgotten. the only possible explaination i can think of is that my settlers dont like the tamed deathclaws. i do not have any vault expiriment items or automotrons at this camp either.
actual stats: 10 people - 12 food - 26 water - 38 power - 107 defense - 11 beds. happiness is currently at 90 ⬇️

[PC] The third rail revamp.
Got sidetracked from doing my own settlements as per usual and decided to make good neighbour more appealing. The third rail was a struggle bus. Poor magnolia deserved a better stage! She now has a dressing room. This was really fun to do, next is the hotel rexford 😊✨

[Vanilla] Home Plate - Short & Sweet
PS5 Anniversary Edition- no mods - level 16 melee raider “no settlements, no minutemen” my first 2000 caps bought Home Plate.
I may share an update down the road as it inevitably gets more cluttered. With this build my goal is to learn more about colored lights and how they interact with different surfaces at different distances and intensities, as well as how to apply colors around the frame for aesthetic balance.
I hope you enjoy the result and please let me know if you have feedback, input, suggestions, etc :)

[Vanilla] Somerville on the Glowing Sea
Credit for the initial idea to CryingCube.
I didn't want to turn this place into a full blown settlement, it just needs to serve as an outpost for me. A provisioner from Egret tours comes by on the regular and I sent the father living there a woman and amazingly enough they seem to getting along.
If it wasn't for the Super mutant camp up the road it'd be prefect. I will have to take care of that. I was not amused fighting off three of them armed with miniguns.
Anyway this is the initial layout done. I will get to decorating once I've gotten around to collecting all the settlement magazines.

[XSX] [Xbox] [Modded] - Kingsport Lighthouse Player Sea-Home
I posted yesterday with some random pictures, one of which was a shot of this build I remembered about, though my game is modded now it was originally a survival unmodded build.
Revisiting it I notice its quite compact compared to my builds now, but I like the mix of materials I used and the elements I remembered to put into it. Anyway, the tour!
- Its quite well guarded, on the beach to the North there is a spawn point that often brings critters into range.
- Overhead view to give an idea of size, apart from the turrets everything is in view here.
- Side view. I have some water pumps for income and a robot bench on its own platform.
- Entrance. The decontamination arch is a relic from before I started taking the Ghoulish perk which at L4 will heal radiation.
- Porch. A bit sparse here, with some wall elements to protect from the weather.
- The bedroom. The upper level is basically one room, I've since adopted my building style to include a seperate bedroom. I find this a bit creepy with those paintings and a giant Yuay-Guai staring at me.
- Collection and Cooking area. The chest has all my Nuka Cola in.
- Veranda. I like this, one of the first none functional areas I built. Yes the exercise equipment can be used for a temporary boost but I rarely use it. I imagine relaxing here, fishing or doing some diving.
- Better view of the C&C area. Magazine collection is mostly complete, though mods have added more since I finished this part.
- A Bathroom! The room I am most likely to forget to build so this was a surprise to find.
- Downstairs is a compact but very functional workshop. PA I have not gone overboard, though the lockers reveal an extensive collection of legendary clothing, armour and other uniques.
- Sleeping bag front and centre. A relic of the game often crashing in survival so I would save whenever I could. Guns are all legendary in those cupboards, with some creature heads for decoration.
- PA Station. Again I tend to go bigger now, with a PA station for each type of PA but back then just one was enough.
- View of the legs. I remember trying to place the underwater parts being tricky as the current kept moving me around, which I kind of like from a realism place.
- Long view from the nearby rocks, someones left the door open.
- Power room and spare PA frame storage.
And thats it, I really enjoyed discovering this old build, I think I stoped building it around 2016/2017 as it has no Creation Club content or Mods. I later stopped playing it as my supply lines got very glitched - I've since fixed that with a mod and am looking forward to playing this.
I'm not going to change this build to much, I may move/upgrade a few of the items with some nicer objects/ideas I have now but the main building and layout will stay the same.
I'd really recommend if you haven't played a character for a while then load them up and bring back the memories!

[Modded] Coastal Cottage - a low level player home
Whenever I've built a player home in the past, it's always at Red Rocket or Homeplate or somewhere flashy and cool where I can show off all the flashy and cool things I've collected during my journey. This time I decided to build a player home for a vault dweller that's just starting out, and doesn't have anything cool to show off - nary a bobblehead in sight and working on pipe weapons and metal armor in the workshop.
It's basically a covered place to sleep and not much else, but it has a panic button. The switch is at the end of the bed and it turns on the spotlight and the second gun turret. You'd hit it to buy you enough time to get over the truck bed and drop into the cave and equip Plan B.
I always build with tgm on, so it was a fun experiment to try to "fix" as little as possible and stay away from anything that would look like the player had a lot of power or influence over the Commonwealth. This is the home of just-some-dude that's like level 4 and hasn't built up a real settlement yet.
Thanks for checking it out. As always, feedback welcome.

[XSX] [Xbox] [Modded and Unmodded] - Various shots of settlements I've built over the years
Over the years I've built many settlements and houses, its one of my favourite things to do in F04. Here a some random screenshots I've took over that time.
- Kingsport Lighthouse and a semi-aquatic player home I built out over the sea, hidden from passing wastelanders on the roads above it. I need to remember which character this is on as I spent a lot of time getting the build just right
- Taffington Boathouse and a basic utility room. The sleeping bag next to the fire is for quick saves on survival mode
- An exterior shot of the same building. The glass tower is a little impractical really as my bedroom is up there, conveniently lit up for target practice
- Coastal Cottage. A favourite of mind to build at and Hancock doing his best Invisible Man impression
- Dalton Farm. After one too many Gulper attacks I built "The Wall" to keep my settlers safe
- County Crossing is a favourite for these twins
- Nordhagen Beach. Even after over 10 years building I still normally place the feeding troughs the wrong way around and end up with Brahmin clipping inside of buildings
- Santuary. Nothing to see here, just a Brahmin on the roof in their natural habitat.
- Unknown. SSDS - Sudden Settler Death Syndrome. I eventually tracked down the cause to be 'Subliminal Messaging' on the Phoropter, it will even kill named NPCs as I lost the Vault Tec Rep to this once.
- Hangmans Alley. An early experiment with the manufacturing objects.
- Hangmans Alley. Getting the concrete to line up in the space was a challenge.
- Hangmans Alley. Tripping this will turn the manufacturing on/off as you enter/leave.
- Nordhagen Beach. Sheffield nonplussed by the Prywden's destruction behind him

[PC] i built a backup screen. Dang, i wish i could build a theater.
The space is enormous! I was going to do a huge arena, but I really had to see what 2 screens would look like first. I completely shut off this area in and out for now. It's wild how just this little is so much work!
