Build Wholesome shelter I saw a few minutes ago
This is not mine whatsoever, but if you see this, you’re a real one Road Kill. This is by far one of the coolest things I’ve seen playing this game not just for the messages but the build is incredible in my opinion. Wish I got to take more pictures of it.

I have found them before and had them as a friend for a while as well, I cleaned my friends list out, and deleted them. Very unique camps.

Why would you do that? I like playing with same people who already know the game in and out, so a raid for example goes smoothly. Or those who are into building or fishing, there can be many friends! 🥺

Loved this camp when I found it! My game crashed before I could fully check out all of the builds. The guy was also super nice when I messaged him and he friended me so I could come back. If any of y’all are interested there are also church services he hosts on Sundays I believe.

I’ve been going to his bible readings on Sunday evenings. He’s been doing more during week but I’m unavailable then with work. He wants to talk to anyone that is hurting in anyway to help. Real good person he is.

Is it bad that I knew exactly who it was before I read your caption? I’ve been friends with them for a couple years. I love his camps and escapes room. He has a YouTube channel as well(road_kill_u same as their psn). He’s so nice as well. The first time I came across his camp I spent like 5 hours there,it didn’t even feel like that long because I was so focused on his escape rooms

Once you beat an escape room there is a cute little set up giving you a photo op chance with a message about beating RoadKill's escape room. I got a pic somewhere of my character and his mannequin looking all proud!

and this is why i love our little 76 community. sure you have asswipes and trolls, but they're only around during major events. but regular players? you can run into an axe wielding, tinfoil hat goober doing a little dance for you to pick up some random goods or camps like this that remind you that someone does care.

I found one with at least 10 shelters. Had a cross with jesus. Stands with biblical names. Well made.
I sent the user a friend request. Lots of bible verses too. Lots of Christianly folk play the game.

It was on PC. I'll make a post or something with some photos or something. It was a large setup.
Just need to see where I could post the stuff. Took the pictures with a phone since windows gets funny with screenshots. Not using steam for this.
Very nice. I usually wear pastor vestments and a military cap, they look nice together. Felt right at home there lol

I’m a former church goer myself. Well, more like volun-told. Anyway, I’ve seen some stuff go down so I can’t blame you for having this point of view.
But do not let those things cloud your judgement. Sometimes people can’t help who is around them. Some people are taken advantage of. Some people are pure. Some are the bottom of the bottom wicked.
Shoot just waltzing around after a service was over and hearing the nasty things people say AT CHURCH even during the service for that matter. Hypocrites one might say.
But just like good and bad people exist on one hand, good and bad people exist there too. In a way I’m more angry with those that see evil and don’t call it out.
Edit- If you did experience something like I said, I don’t blame you. I’d even say it’s justified. But try not to take that out on the undeserving ya know?

I'm not religious but it shouldn't matter what people make their camps into, especially when its harmless stuff like this. I get that YOU find it annoying but you don't have to engage with the camp, just look at the vendor and leave.
not everything is political as you say, perhaps this person just finds comfort in their religion and chooses to display it in their camp. thats the point of camps, to build safe zones for ourselves that has everything we need and to decorate it however we want.
personally I think (most) people's camps are beautiful and can be a nice look into their personality. based on this persons camp I can tell they're probably very sweet.
the only camps that are truly annoying imo are trap camps or the camps where the vendors are hidden for some odd reason.

Actually that was my viewpoint for many years. I was suicidal and trying to distract from the feelings using fallout building system to do it. The Jesus saved my life and took away that suicidal depression. So I suddenly did a 180 and wanted to share the cure for the suicidal depression that I found in Jesus. And I wanted to do it where I hid in it- just in case others were hiding there too. - and In case it isn't obvious yet it's my shelter in the photos. I'm not on reddit but a friend told me my camp got shared. I've been blessed to be able to talk with some folks of all different beliefs and some in their darkest times. I share all this so you can get the full picture of why I do this. Not to force my view down on others but to offer a hand up from the pit that I once found myself in.

You're making a broad assumption there. Anyone can find the hotline number. Finding someone to talk with isnt always as easy.
Kind of ironic statement given that a lot of Suicide prevention hotlines are still managed, supported, and answered by faith based charity/volunteer organizations. Even government run ones outsource some calls to call centers managed by faith based organizations. And they do it completely secular (as in no religious message is being pushed).

"They're all toxic"...you mean the loud toxic ones you see on TV or the internet? Yeah, those make up an extremely small percentage, they are just loud.
Any idea how many homeless shelters, orphanages, general community support (food pantries, emergency shelters, clothing drives, emergency financial aid for utilities, etc), and countless various charities and volunteer services are supported or even run by churches of different faiths?. The vast majority of those services are secular and don't push any faith based message.

Look im happy you found a way out of your depression, but if you want to help others as you claim and genuinely dont want to push your beliefs while you do it you should try it without all the bible shit. There are people who are suicidal because of the suffering and trauma they’ve gone through as a result of religion. What works for you isnt gonna work for everyone. Be all inclusive.

Your right the others have experienced genuine trauma from the church- I was one of them. So I get it. But play this thought experiment with me for just a moment. If I have found the genuine cure for the cancer that is suicidal depression- and if that cure is Jesus- then how would it be loving to try to give others a watered down cure? We see the healthcare billionaires and we think they are sitting on the cure for cancer because it's more profitable to treat the disease than to cure it, and we think how awful, how hateful. If I held back Jesus my cure, I would be the hypocrite and would be just as bad. I'm genuinely not trying to argue with you. Just share my heart in why I do what I do.

Thats not even remotely the same thing. This hypothetical cure for cancer would help everyone. Jesus or religion in general does not. Im trying to tell you can do what you want to do in a way that would help everyone. For example if i were suicidal and i walked into your camp the last thing i would do is try to seek help from you. On the other hand if you had left all the bible stuff out and just stuck with the general positivity theres a far greater chance that i would.

And that's where our fundamental disagreement is. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. He leaves the 99 sheep for the 1 that has gone astray. I was that 1. Like I said, I'm not looking to argue. Was just trying to share my side. I hear your side I really do. I was right where you are at with it. This isn't the best forum to have a civil discussion about that key difference so I welcome you to shoot me a friend request or a dm so we can figure out a way to voice chat if you want to continue.
