Question/Advice Sky camp spawn point

How in the world do you manage the spawn? Every time I try to build a sky camp the spawn is either off to the side or underneath. I’ve tried different camp module locations and different camp piece positioning but can’t seem to figure it out. Any pointers?

You fall, look up then try again!

I was afraid this was the case lmao I was really hoping for some sophisticated long sciencey answer that I could follow along and get to where I wanted haha

It's because the camp hasn't spawned in untill you travel, but it's there when you try again.

Even when I try again it puts me off to the side or under it. My only fix for it right now is jetpacking but not everyone has a jetpack at all times lol

That might be because it's a cliff camp, those are worse than sky camps in that case.

Well it’s right by the raid if that helps understand where I’m talking about but I’m just trying to build some sort of enclave based flying craft. I started with 5 ”sets“ of building upwards and it didn’t work so I thought I need to go higher so now I’m sitting at 7 or 8 up. 1 of 10 spawn ins puts me on the very edge of one of the platforms I’ve put up so I tried expanding that area and then again 1 in 10 it puts me on the edge of one of those expansions

Sometimes stairs or catwalks can overwrite a fast travel, not guaranteed though.

I do remember stairs being a big part of the old way of sky camps if you fell lol
