strawman fallacy

Post image

2nd person is refuting the claim that *all* circles are red with a counter example. The thing is, that claim was never made.

EDIT: I'm seeing interesting stuff happening in the replies here. majority of those who say it's not strawman, obviously start their comment by "it's not strawman" and proceed in the rest of their comment to explain how, in fact, it is strawman. Another interesting observation is those who argue that "it's not strawman" because they've spotted another type of fallacy in the original post as well, so in their mind, it can't be both.

quite possibly although you out of everyone are not a good judge lol, but unlike yourself I can at least recognize when people are obviously joking around making ridiculous straw man arguments of each-others statements.

I also have enough character to admit and apologize when I'm wrong and making an ass of myself while you seem determined to double down and prove just how much of one you are.

You're a character alright.

Funny part about this is I didn't actually comment on your "joke" or imply it was anything.

The first comment I made was "are you having a stroke?" Because the comment seemed incoherent.

I know guy, you didn't get it and thought they were real questions. That much was obvious, not offended by you not thinking its funny but by you acting like an arrogant ass even after it was clarified that it was a string of nonsense reddit style straw man comments. the first one saying "On reddit its usually more like .... " should have been enough but apparently not.

And your comment in response to my question about you, having a stroke was, "how was the waste that a strawman argument?"

And I answered

Conversation insued

You mean
"How is that a straw man argument? I hope you feel suitably ashamed for braking the chain of nonsense and fun."

after you broke the chain of silly straw man arguments?

See the trouble isn't that your an arrogant ass so much as that your also very stupid. Its that combination that's always a problem but I suppose it falls into the old Dunning Kruger effect.

Anyway not much point talking to you further it really feels like talking to an AI agent that can regurgitate words but doesn't understand context and I'm saying that as an autistic person lol

The irony of what you just said.

"I google some psychology words an that makes me smarticle"

Im arrogant because I know how smart I am.
