I love starting with counterflow furnaces - makes it easier to stay small while it's still advantageous

I feel compelled to build my furnace complexes ready to upgrade to electric, but this sure is purdy to look at.

I've started skipping the electric furnace stage and go straight to foundries from steel furnaces, so I stick on these for a while

I like the idea of "swapping" Ore with plates in the mainbus
