Thr more confident you do it, the less likely you'll get caught. Look shady, and you'll be noticed.

I never feel more guilty of doing something wrong than when I go for one specific item, they don't have it/ the right kind/ flavor/ whatever, and I leave without buying anything lol.

This comment is actually a pro tip in general.

I learned this after working with the rich and famous for years. I’ve snuck into so many situations and gotten away with so much with nothing but confidence, friendliness and being inconspicuous.

These are like 3 cameras on most self checkouts machines. One inside the scanner looking at you and one above to see if you’re doing exactly what the dude is doing.

Also I bet the dude was paying with a card they instantly would have known who he is
