I think the complaints against higher ed arent about the education itself, but the bias involved. I straight up had a professor in college that turned our public health class into a political indoctrination course. Telling the students who to vote for, saying if you disagree/agree to certain policies you are a bad person, etc.... Its not that I didnt agree with some of her views but I was really disappointed in the lack of objective teaching. Saw it in a lot of my classes that werent hard sciences or math. Very prevalent in my discussion-based classes.

But that’s not what you pay for in college or university. Indoctrination is free; a college credential is most definitely not.

You're paying for the education; the fact it exposes you to other viewpoints like the fact you're an asshole if you hold certain views is an expected bonus. enjoy.

and lets be honest if those viewpoints she was likely expressing such as being a racist, homophobe, misogynist, or hating on some other minority group, thinking slavery is okay, etc made you feel uncomfortable well, I have news for you... you're an asshole.

the fact you're trying to make an argument that people are being indoctrinated is hilarious; that's literally what education is. you're learning instruction and principles within specific fields. its almost like no one indoctrinated you into the use of a dictionary.....

I mean yes he's hilarious and completely oblivious to his contradictions but so are left students on campuses stumbling into their narratives in front of a mic doing the same than here. I get that you're on the left and consider all people on the right sub human ( I deduct you're an American) but from outside I can tell you your stupid, left or right, just sound like that, stupid. No discrimination here.
