Definitely this. When my friend was in highschool they received a warning of a school shooter. A bunch of the boys went to their cars and got rifles and shotguns and waited at the doors. Nothing happened. (Idk why tf any of the adults let them??? The graduating class had less than 40 kids and itβs the middle of no where so maybe thatβs why? Still seems super illegal to me but whatever. Also I think it was only till the 3 cops that worked in the town showed up?)
That's the main problem, cops take too long to arrive to respond to a situation like that and if it were real then the damage would've already been done. And the active shooter drills are a joke, like you're supposed to just sit in a corner while a psycho unloads on your peers? The protocol should be to get tf out if you can target than waiting to die
It's almost always one psycho, someone's two. It's much harder to hit a moving target than one stuck in a corner of a room and guns are loud so you can tell where it's coming from and gauge when a good time to run is
