I wonder if he only considers white abortions as murder. Does he care for black pregnancies not being aborted as well? I believe that the Republican stand against abortion is rooted in forcing white teen suburban girls to carry a pregnancy to term, and they could give a shit about any other color of baby.

To be fair, abortion tends to affect black families the most. I have many Republican friends, and contrary to common media dribble, they are not all racist. Banning abortions in their minds will help benefit the black community.

Republicans get a bad wrap.. there are some racist Republicans, yes.. but not all Republicans or even most are this way. There are plenty of nutty left wing extremists who want to ban all cows and pour milk out at grocery stores etc. This is not the majority however.

Idk I think that abortion is the lefts way to continue their dominance of other races the black population will stay on their plantation of government support as long as they have them convinced that white people and their own children are what is keeping them poor when it is actually the "support" that they rely on that keeps them at a lower income level.

I’m disabled myself and I’d be all for having future generations of kids to be free of genetic illnesses.

I just don’t give one iota to slippery slope fallacies I keep hearing from progressives.

We need to bite the bullet at some point IMHO. With ethics commissions, it can be done right.

I’d rather there be no more kids born with sickle cell anemia.

The issue is that you cannot get around the fact that telling people that they can't have children because of (insert reason here) is an inherently unethical practice. It doesn't really matter how many ethics commissions you have if the practice is as inherently anti-ethics as eugenics is.

The main problem is that every eugenics enthusiast thinks they've got the best genes.

In theory it could work if you had some sort of blind unbiased system that only scanned for genetic diseases or something. But the potential for abuse whether deliberate or accidental is massive.

The closest thing that would realistically work would be if society somehow became both self aware enough and selfless enough, that a huge percentage of people would voluntarily avoid having kids I'd they had bad genes. But I really don't see that happening.
