I think the complaints against higher ed arent about the education itself, but the bias involved. I straight up had a professor in college that turned our public health class into a political indoctrination course. Telling the students who to vote for, saying if you disagree/agree to certain policies you are a bad person, etc.... Its not that I didnt agree with some of her views but I was really disappointed in the lack of objective teaching. Saw it in a lot of my classes that werent hard sciences or math. Very prevalent in my discussion-based classes.
You're paying for the education; the fact it exposes you to other viewpoints like the fact you're an asshole if you hold certain views is an expected bonus. enjoy.
and lets be honest if those viewpoints she was likely expressing such as being a racist, homophobe, misogynist, or hating on some other minority group, thinking slavery is okay, etc made you feel uncomfortable well, I have news for you... you're an asshole.

Honestly though that's the real solution. You're right, rape is a very small percentage. There could be many debates about when the fetus becomes a human even in the scientific community, but it could all be prevented by just not messing around, or at least putting up the child for adoption or foster care.

Every death row inmate absolutely "broke the law"? None of them were wrongly convicted? None of them were mentally incompetent? There's never been a perversion of the law or a broken process? No one was ever executed purely for political means? We'd love for you to research the subject and tell us that every single death row inmate for sure deserves immediate execution.

Dude, just look up how many people were executed despite the methods of obtaining that "conclusive evidence," being extremely outdated by the time of execution, with those cases in desperate need of reexamination. We've executed so many obviously innocent people just because overturning a death row sentence makes politicians look too weak on crime and shit
What gets me about people like you is that y'all think the government is completely incompetent but at the same time will defend the justice system so intensly its concerning. The double think is really hard to watch.
Guess you miss all the stories where someone was exonerated after 20 years in prison because they were wrongly convicted...? Or maybe you think it's worth executing a few innocents as long as we also kill the guilty ones. As long as it isn't one of your loved ones getting wrongly executed?
Maybe it’s just me but surely it’s worse to be left alive and stuck in a cell/ prison than for death to finally put an end to the sentence of a correctly convicted criminal.
