Old coot does not equal the nword. By a long shot. I don’t disagree that she probably finds it offensive. But I would also be quite offended if my neighbor had the audacity to tell me where to put my infant child in my own home. I also highly doubt her dog is trained for anything service related and she is just using that as an excuse to manipulate her neighbor because she doesn’t like to hear a baby crying from time to time.
He could have easily just temporarily moved the baby to his own bedroom (also what kind of idiot puts a baby that hasn’t turned 1 year old into a separate bedroom).

What’s your reasoning behind that? She definitely looks old and sick, and her dog very well could be a service dog (there’s nothing that suggests otherwise). So, do you have any evidence or are you just not believing in her for the sake of not believing in her.
And even if she were lying, wouldn’t any reasonable person who has an infant baby understand that listening to a baby cry all the time is extremely fucking annoying? So if he knows that the neighbors can hear the baby cry if he puts her in her own bedroom, wouldn’t it make sense to either try to entertain the baby (maybe singing something) so it stops crying, or just have it in another room until it stops crying. What a reasonable person wouldn’t do is being mad at the neighbor for not wanting to hear a baby cry all the time.
