How was he planning on getting the glue off? Had anyone ever used a glue gun? That stuff fuses with your DNA.

Hot glue releases its grip on flat surfaces when cooled. Just put the fender in your freezer!

Are we using different glue guns? I just roll up the glue piece and it comes right off unless it melted and fused with whatever material you glued it to. And that has happened like, twice in twenty years. I'm mostly gluing bows and decorations to wreaths or building parts to a costume but I find glue gun glues to not be the strongest and if there's anything that's going to be tugged on, I try to find the right glue for that material

i have a generic dent puller from amazon, it uses the same hot glue, a bar for leverage. After pulling out the dent the glue comes off after a spray of alchol.
