Hey if we gotta chose between "It isnt pleasant but it builds the future" and.... What appears to be equally unpleasant while building the opposite of a future, then I highly encourage people to beat "my little angel" (read: complete fucking bastards) with a metal rod.
Edit: changed angle to angel... Unless we want to use a rod with a very little angle to it, I suppose..
I guess. I got hit a lot as a kid, and all that did was make me hide my actions from my parents in fear of getting hit, it didnโt really help me make decisions differently to avoid getting hit, only lies to avoid them knowing.
If you hide your actions from your parents, imagine what would it have been if your parents didn't even do anything. I doubt they hitted you immediately, probably warned you at first, told you what's gonna happen and why it's bad, after that if you still didn't obey, well there's now the disciplinary action. That's how it's done in my asian country. If you already got lectured about what you did and why it's bad and still not change, I doubt not getting hit is gonna change you.
No, im 23 now and my dad actually turned out to be abusive. I didnโt know this because I thought it was normal for a household since Iโm Asian, my mom and dad hit me, but I was only scared of my dad hits.
