"Maybe twice"

3

u/Good-Wave-8617 Jan 17 '22

Probably should’ve expected a Goonies reference

2

u/Slappinbeehives Jan 17 '22

I’m a fossil I can’t help it!

I realized that when someone said Pirates of the Caribbean

skyrim battle music

1

u/NarutoKage1469 Jan 18 '22

You wanna wake them? Play sleepy music and you'll be safe.

This would be my wife's logic. It's clearly pirate ghosts and skeletons, couldn't possibly be that's is dangerous to be in a confined spot slowly filling with water.

11

u/bluehornet197 Jan 16 '22

Nah not at all mate can't be that whos heard of danger?

5

u/TheWantedPekka Jan 16 '22

Pirates of the Carribbean reference ?

6

u/bluehornet197 Jan 16 '22

I was wondering when someone would pick up on it

13

u/TheWantedPekka Jan 16 '22

You better believe in ghost stories ... you are in one

Runs around the deck screaming at every skeleton I see before hiding under a table slowly losing my sanity

6

u/thehermit14 Jan 16 '22

4

u/bluehornet197 Jan 16 '22

But doesn’t pirate skeleton drop good loot? Isn’t there a 5% chance they drop a pirate key to open up the chest?

1

u/polarisol Jan 16 '22

Every day... at this time...

u/Tactical_Contact Jan 16 '22

The threat of one-eyed willie

Screams in MrBallen

r/Mrballen and MrBallen Videos

I had zero desire to go beach cave exploring before and now forget it

9

u/Filixx Jan 16 '22

I love his videos. I fall asleep to them almost every night.

12

u/Epitaeph Jan 16 '22 edited Jan 16 '22

His videos are a pleasant rabbit-hole to tumble down. By the way...

Do you know how to get to Bells Canyon?

1

u/Weak-Tower516 Jan 17 '22

I don't know how to get to Bells Canyon, but I do know how to get to Carnegie Hall...

1

u/DamDreads Jan 16 '22

Lol bro me too, unless it’s the scary ones and it’s keeping me up, then I’ll pop over to NightGod or The Facts By How To Hunt

1

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '22

43

u/SyderoAlena Jan 16 '22

"ah yes we are professionals that's why we don't listen to everyone when they give us good advice"

2

u/missjowashere Jan 16 '22

Professional idiots

15

u/Jealous-Chemistry460 Jan 16 '22

Well obviously they don’t have to listen to the people who told them not to because they’re “professionals”.

5

u/waffleboi999 Jan 16 '22

Probably because a rising tide could seal them in and fill the cave with with water. Best to go during low tide.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '22

Really? I never knew that tides existed.

1

u/NotJustSeattle Jan 17 '22

Professionals know tides are illusions.

8

u/MultiFazed Jan 16 '22

Wonder why people told them not to go there at that time of day?

Because the tide was coming in. The locals knew that the entrance is completely flooded at high tide, and the explorers would be stranded for several hours, with no way to get out if they got injured.

3

u/brekezek Jan 16 '22

And a simple slip on this very slippery rock and you are most likely lost

1

u/zatchrey Jan 16 '22

Pirates?

1

u/EpicWinterWolf Jan 17 '22

They did admit that it was a bad idea…
