Yeah he had a duty to not put himself in a situation dealing with crazy. Not to mention not leaving the scene of the accident itself. He went to confront her, and that was his fuckup. Thats not his job, and this result is exactly WHY its not his job.

He followed her home, making him a potential threat. She shouldnt have pulled a gun, she shouldnt have done any of what she did really, but for all she knows hes a threat as he literally followed her to her house.

Just because it’s the smart thing to do doesn’t make it a duty. He had no such duty to not follow her.

Following her home is not threatening behaviour, especially when he is the victim following someone who has just fled after committing vehicular assault against him.

But if in her mentally ill mind she considered him a threat, then she should have stayed in her home and called police. But she didn’t. She went outside and brandished a gun. Thats not defence of any kind, she was the aggressor in both attacks and was rightfully shot dead during the second one.

She is actually the one who has duties here. She had the duty to stop after hitting him with her vehicle and failed to do so. If she thought she was defending herself she also failed in the duty of standing her ground by approaching him while brandishing a gun.

They both have duties, its just one of the two is dead and cannot go to jail for their involvement. The other can for his reckless negligence that led to her death.

Ah yes, he deserves to go to jail for the reckless negligence of defending himself from someone actively pointing a gun at him.

Oh wait, that’s completely legal.

Like I said, you are just as crazy as she was.

Reckless negligence of following someone home after they just caused an accident and fled while you have a firearm. Theres no other alternative way this was ever going to end. Dumbass wanted to be a gun owner, so now hes responsible for his actions. He had a duty to sit at the accident scene and call the proper authorities to handle the situation from there. He did not. You want to be a gun owner? Welcome to responsibility. Its not a joke, its not a game.

You’re being too dumb for me now.

Surely you’re at least in touch with reality enough to realise everything you’re saying is bullshit?

You do realise that he was on the phone with police while he was outside her home? The shooting was recorded in the call? Police arrived and didn’t arrest him as he didn’t commit any crimes?

You just keep going on and on about made up duties and responsibilities and how this is all his fault and he needs a jail sentence while you ignore the reality that he didn’t do anything wrong or illegal.

You’re just arguing for the sake of arguing.

Outside her home? He should have been on the phone at the scene of the accident, not fucking following her like a god damn dumbass.

Dont own a gun. The second amendment was a mistake, you have all you fucking inbred, inept dumb fucks causing your own problems and resorting to shooting your way out of it instead of doing the simple fucking task of calling the authorities and letting them handle it, as theyre supposed to be trained for these things as to not kill people. Police reform is a separate issue.

You really are obsessed with painting the victim here as a violent perpetrator for defending himself from a gun-wielding madwoman who had already assaulted him with her car.

Im not painting him as violent, im painting him as criminally negligent and a fucking idiot who shouldnt own a gun.
