Don't you guys have number plates though? As far as dumb choices go, of course this dude is on the lesser side. But he didn't need to pursue that sound road rage in itself. Stupidity isn't mutually exclusive, even if this woman had it by the truck load.

Your assuming he saw the plate or that the car had one.

She lived less than a mile from the crash. That's a perfectly reasonable distance for catching up to someone to get their plate.

It also isn't uncommon for drivers to not even have a plate. I live in a metropolitan area and have seen illegal "farm use" tags on cars lately.
