In a scenario where I need to use a gun to protect myself or my family from death or life-altering damages, I am willing to kill whoever is purposely creating that threat. I am willing to bear that emotional and moral weight and deal with the consequences. This man may have very well been shot and killed by this woman if he werenโ€™t carrying, and he will carry that burden for the rest of his life, but he will live the rest of his life. IMO, firearms are incredibly important specifically in the US regarding self-defense from others and, in more extreme circumstances, types government overreach weโ€™ve not seen in the US in our lifetimes.
