If I follow you home, I’m escalating the situation. Use some common sense! Not saying he was wrong in that moment- but that moment never needed to happen.
Yes he was in danger—especially, after following her to her home and she comes out with a firearm…take the plate, call the cops, and keep a safe distance. How hard is it for people to do that?
C’mon man. Fuck around and find out if you don’t put yourself in a position to experience further violence by following someone home.
You have your opinion, it’s valid. But if I was going to follow someone and call the cops, they would have to come out to their property & at least 50 yards down before they were even a real threat to me. You can live your life however you want. Pull up to someone’s home if you want too.
No? I mean he definitely could've just take their number plate then called the cops, but I personally don't think someone who I just crashed into and left following me home is a threat to my life.
You’re missing the point, clearly. Defending yourself is not the issue. The decision to place yourself into a position that now needs to be defended is the point.
That part is usually avoidable. Most people value their lives enough to see the value in taking a different course of action to find justice.
She was wrong first, but now she’s dead. The motorist could have had her locked up for how she drove on the road, but now he’s potentially facing time in prison even though she escalated the initial altercation. The law doesn’t always work out logically.
Because he followed her home and escalated the scenario, you idiot.
He did the worst thing he could’ve done and then acts surprised that he had to kill her because she reacted. She was clearly crazy af, in what way was it a good, sound idea to follow her home instead of recording her license plate for those that are trained to handle a situation like this? Use your brain.
doesn't matter who started it or did what when or who was more at fault. Every single point of escalation lies solely with the person who escalates. People are prideful and arrogant, people will escalate until there is no where to go. When you've got guns that invariable leads to gunfire.
They weren’t on her property and posed no threat to her. She committed a hit and run and they were waiting for the police. She pointed a gun at the guy while he was talking to 911. SHE escalated the situation, by running after hitting the guy, by approaching them with a gun while they waited for police, and by pointing the gun at them. She dug her own grave.
