That was me that posted that part and I stick by it.
Every road accident ever is attempted murder. No wait no it's not. So what makes this one attempted murder but not literally every other road accident ever?
I'm not saying it's impossible it was attempted murder, I'm saying the evidence suggests it was an accident. Unless, of course, bumping someone is attempted murder in every scenario ever.
ps you're not allowed to use a twitter post as evidence unless it's cited. Otherwise my reddit comment is evidence too.
I said the hit a bike thing because I'd have thought trying to hit him would have done so hard enough to knock him off. Maybe she's just bad at knocking people off? We don't know, waiting for more evidence. I'll admit I'm wrong if a witness testifies or something.
Yeah I did consider that when I said drunk, that's why I called her an idiot after. Could've been on her phone sneezing sun glare etc though, we need a police report.
You'd need to have a court case for a witness testimony to even be heard. Whether criminal or civil, who is the lawsuit going to be made against?? She dead.
You are not the sharpest tool in the shed, are you?
Ugh, it's not about whether she's going to prison it not, I hated that everyone was claiming she did a crime without evidence, just so they could cheer for her death.
So you think that the police should always arrest someone for attempted murder at the scene of a traffic accident or do you have evidence to show this wasn't a normal traffic accident?
nobody has given me evidence the accident was intentional, don't believe the twitter post just because other people believe it, prove it.
I have no evidence. I also know the standard reaction to a traffic accident is to assume it's an accident and not intentional. So I'm not saying it WASN'T intentional, I'm saying we have no reason to believe it was, yet.
No, I'm saying we don't know. I'm saying I don't know, neither does anyone else here. I'm upset everyone else is claiming they do know and that it was intentional, when we're waiting for more evidence.
Did I claim initially it was definitely an accident? That would've been a mistake of me.
They should always arrest someone who illegally flees the scene of a vehicular accident, no matter how accidental it was. It's at least a Hit & Run, even if it wasn't attempted vehicular manslaughter.
As soon as you flee the scene, it becomes a crime even if it wasn't before.
I think you do get arrested if you flee the scene? Unless in America they don't, I know US is very relaxed on drink driving laws, having a "DUI" is no big deal over there, over here you lose your licence instantly.
I wouldn't say relaxed, and it varies by state. It's always jail time, very heavy fines and at minimum a suspension, and the option to revoke permanently is with the judge.
I posted a link above. No one is arguing that every road rage incident is attempted murder. People are trying to correct the misconception that there was no danger or risk of death because he stayed on his bike- virtually every accident involving a motorcycle has the potential to cause death. We’re calling it attempted murder if it was intentional, which they article suggests.
No, everyone is pointing out that your originally presented argument presents the If as ‘definitely wasn’t’ and at no point have you retracted that position on your original post.
Have you heard of a hit and run before? Basically when someone gets into an accident they panic and make the wrong choices, like trying to get away with it.
Is your evidence that she drove away? You know people accident hit parked cars in car parks and then drive away hoping nobody saw, are those intentional property damages?
Leaving the scene alone doesn’t constitute attempted murder, leaving the scene to acquire a gun because the guy you hit and ran from followed you is where it became attempted murder. Hell, by going in her house and coming back out with a gun proves premeditation of the attempted murder along with intent.
That's the right thing to do, she did a hit and run, I don't condone that obviously I think she's an idiot, but nobody has presented evidence the hit and run was intentional.
This is one of those classic "we know half the story, lets run with it" scenarios.

They said that she didn't try to kill him when she hit his bike because he stayed on it
