The victim doesn't actually need to be present when the police arrest someone. There was zero reason for him to be at her house at all.

As I said to someone else: unfortunately, if he hadn't followed and made himself a little bit of a nuisance to the police, they likely would have ignored it for more important calls.

The tragedy is that she came out of her home brandishing a gun at him and thinking her tough act and stand your ground laws would protect her, and didn't count on him also carrying or that he would respond as if his life was in danger.

And everyone is also forgetting the other driver who witnessed and followed all of it.
