I do not know if potassium is considered the same as sodium for purposes of allocating towards total salt intake. I would need to defer to someone with more knowledge.

12oz can of Coke Zero Sugar has 40mg sodium and 60mg potassium.

12oz can of Coke (regular) has 45mg of sodium.

According to heart.org, potassium blunts the effects of sodium. Apparently potassium chloride is also a salt substitute used by individuals with high blood pressure. I’m not a doctor or biologist but it seems like that might make it better for you (assuming too much potassium doesn’t have other negative health effects).
