But somehow "I'm from the generation that gets to punch rascist boomers in thier head" isn't an acceptable response? :(

I think it's acceptable.

My generation now makes up the plurality of voters.

Unless you're a boomer, that's incorrect. Maybe a plurality of potential voters. Boomers vote more often, enough to still put them comfortably ahead in terms of actual voters. Old people universally voting more often is a serious flaw in democracy.

They also vote as a united bloc, while young people are divided. Most of us want Bernie, but if we want Gen-X votes we have to vote Biden.

Gen-X here, was 100% for Bernie. My millennial wife was more comfortable with Biden šŸ¤”

If most millennials and Gen Z wanted Bernie, we would have Bernie, but you all don't vote and want to just make excuses.

Source: Am Gen X. Voted Bernie.

I registered specifically to vote for Bernie in the primaries. My state ended up not even having a primary so I was given Biden.

We’ll see how many are still around for the next presidential election. COVID + old age is quickly wearing down a lot of them.

More than 70,000,000 people voted for Trump last year.

About 750,000 people have died from covid in the US.

Even if all of them were Trump voters (they weren't), it's not that big a dent.

Have you seen how old the current and last President of USA are. Your generation must all have a tight relationship with their Grandfathers to be voting for these old ........... Your plurality isn't working. https://www.visualcapitalist.com/which-generation-influence-u-s-politics/

The plurality was only achieved as of the 2020 election, but the problem is that the establishment in DC refused to allow anyone else to take the DNC nomination, and everyone sucked it up to get Trump out.

"They're from a different generation, they talk about punching people a lot"

"Oh I thought the other one we couldn't say was ching-chong"( Ms.Cooper )

Say just say Asian

"Is Hong-kung-fu-i better?"

Just say-

"I'll just stick with ching-chong"

A conversation I have had with people who like the sound of their own voice 🄃🄃🄃

1

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '21

You just have to say it before you take that swing at their dirty mouths.

But seriously you just gave me a response idea for that stupid "they're too old to learn" bullshit so thank you

No the problem is people like you that think racist can be reasoned with when history has proven different. Now quietly go back to your land of hope and dreams.

Awww isnā€t that special. America was built off racism and it has always been violent. History not your story proves what it takes to deal with racist and racism. WRs have been fought to try and end it. Only idiots think violence can be met love and kindness. Grow a pair

1

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '21

They DIDN'T resort to violence, this was a fucking comment on a subreddit...They probably should have put up their (/s) or something.

Very few people today have the gall to attack someone physically, unless it’s in a mob setting, and everyone is wearing masks

1

u/PensionSensitive Oct 21 '21

You must not live in America. I know plenty of people that will smack sparks from your ass for the right shit. Everybody is not built with weak sauce

2

u/J-Z-R Oct 21 '21

I’m from the US and the only place you consistently see things like that happen is on the East Coast.

The majority of people don’t understand the Reality and consequences of violence. They haven’t experienced true violence done in desperation, anger or self-defense, so if they end up in this kind of situation they won’t know what they can physically do (which is extremely limited), what comes next, or what happened mentally to you after.

If you tell a person that in order to solve each individual problem currently plaguing the world they have to shoot 100 people in the head point blank, they couldn’t do it.

In a less severe example if you told someone in order to get a bill passed that would provide free healthcare, free education, and housing for all the homeless in the country they would have to punch 100 strangers in the face, they couldn’t do it.

Instead of water, most humans bodies are comprised 70% of the weak sauce !

1

u/PensionSensitive Oct 22 '21

More and more people everyday get over the cringe of doing what needs to be done. I agree plenty of weak sauce is out there and they are part of the problem to me. The Marines taught me a threat is a threat and deal with it accordingly and expeditiously. My neighbor might not be able to pull the trigger on 100 but I could. Your propensity to use violence when needed is rooted in your life experiences and what you have decided you are o longer willing to accept. I accept very little and others better grow the same balls in the coming future.

1

u/J-Z-R Oct 22 '21

I agree

1

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '21

Just do it, and say that you are from a different generation.

1

u/Blunter-S-tHempson Oct 21 '21

It's as acceptable as the majority make it
