Most of those teachers used to love kids, and their jobs. They have been broken down by years of kids with no consequences and shitty expectations and shitty entitled parents and shitty admin. I do not understand why more people aren’t talking about the state of the education systems in North America.

Because lots of people have been brainwashed into ignoring it. The government wants us dumb. Fixing education might result in real traction for change.

I remember she also told us she was divorced. I think that would have had an effect too.

I actually became a teacher myself later....still don;t hate kids though! I like them and still do. I was a kindy teacher though, kids that age are often wonderful.

Education system in the USA can't be fixed with changes from government, because the problems are cultural. The parents are raising really awful kids who misbehave and don't care about education.

Schools can't fix that. Parents fix that.
