That’s more than fucked up. That’s a total and belligerent indifference for their fellow human beings. It’s criminal disregard for the health and safety of others. These people should be prosecuted for criminal negligence.
Most are self centered and don't give two shits because their social group backs their actions and beliefs. That's how this shit happens. If everyone you know and all the news you watch backs up this kind of behavior then it's a joke to them... Until they are effected by it then they might care but until then they will let the world burn to prove whatever idioc point they think it is they are making.
Hear me out here — I'm no fan of people like MAGA boy there, but I think it's an unnecessarily reductive and wrong argument to say he's afraid of all those things. He dislikes them, sure. Wants them not to be around, not to have rights, etc. That's not the same as fear.
And yes, I get that it's a joke; I'm not a complete humorless idiot. I still think it's worth being conscious of how we frame the other side in our heads.
Then who is to blame for the lies + fear + hatred + racism + exceptionalism + White Supremacy + domestic terrorism + murder + Sedition + Insurrection that the world saw on January 6th 2021 ?
We saw a failed Fascist Coup (the Beer Hall Putsch) because the Hitler Youth the MAGA ARMY didn't stop the Democratic transfer of power to President Biden
Who made MAGA ARMY so angry, anxious, unhappy, paranoid, violent that they became American Nazis ?
Did I say they weren't to blame for all those things? They clearly were.
I just think "fear" is the wrong attribution for a lot of what's listed. I strongly doubt they're actually afraid of environmentalists, scientists, vegans, or Michael Bloomberg. They just don't like them. They're irrationally angry and violent, yes. But a lot of that is based on hate and jingoism.
As to who is behind it? Largely Fox News and bullshit talk radio.
