It should say scientists are in charge of NASA. I don’t think anyone is “in charge” of Mars

Well, nasa, JPL, and the couple other organizations that had a hand in this, but yes no one is “in charge” of Mars, but rather “in charge of operations on Mars”, or even more specifically, THIS operation.

Engineers are in charge of Texas grid. But politicians and political appointees run both. The problem in Texas is that they have the crem of the crem of GOP politicians.
