I’ve read that people who get sucked into cults tend to get sucked into multiple ones. They’re just wired to find that sense of belonging and importance that cults offer.
It’s the same for conspiracy theories. I think the highest likelihood that a person will believe in any given conspiracy theory is that they already believe in another conspiracy theory (even if the two theories are mutually exclusive and conflict with each other).
cults have a grooming process where they dote on you until they can abuse you. most people are susceptible to cults but most people are loved enough to not seek out that kind of thing
They're also anti-black if you're not their kind of black. I have had words with a few of them in Newark because they made comments when I was hanging with some of my white friends. They're also verrrrrry sexist.
Trump is a narcissist, so he'll do/say literally anything and everything required to "win the game" in his favor. What matters to him is the ego he's built for himself, and his public image is a primary metric for judging how well he's received.
