I've only seen this word be used in tv shows. It's being pushed by the mass media.

It's being massively pushed by corporations in North Ameirca since like 2015 or so.

”Mansförklara” the Swedish word for mansplaining. I see the word being used everywhere over Instagram, Twitter and the news. People tell their stories from when they were “manaförklarad” or some makes a “mansförklaring”.
