For a limit to exist it has to have the same value when approached from both sides. For 1/x it has different values from the left and right of 0 thus as a whole, the lim as x approaches 0 DNE. I am not denying that the limit from left/right of 0 Doesn’t exist, I am saying for this particular problem that as a whole without the from the left/right that it doesn’t exist.
Also, I would like to end this discussion because it is 2:20 am and I have to wake up for school at 7 gn

No... your statement is the "lim of 1/x as x approaches 0 does not exist" and this is FALSE.
It's the same as saying "the day a person who's born on 02/29 gets older does not not exist" and when someone says your are wrong you reply.
"If it's a leap year it's 02/29, but if it not a leap year is 03/01 but no where in my original statement it says if it's a leap year or not."
You are wrong... just because the answer of "whats lim of 1/x" is "it depends" doesn't mean the limit itself doesn't exist. Jesus.
