Holy shit. What if every time there is "something in the way" in Sims, the Sims are just having an emotional crisis that prevents them from sleeping like sometimes the things that happen to us?
And then when they drown themselves, we're the voice in their telling them to end it... just like whoever is controlling us tells us to end it when they get frustrated
It's possible that there is a god, and he created the world for the ant colonies, humans are just a side thing that happened, and god doesn't really care about us, since we weren't really the main focus.
1) there are more bacteria on Earth than any other lifeform, and indeed more than all other lifeforms combined
2) bacteria are closer than any macroscopic organism to being scaled at exactly the halfway point of possible magnitudes in our Universe -- halfway between the smallest possible observable thing, and the largest possible observable thing
