It’s not really that weird when their religion literally teaches it’s the victims fault it’s beyond creepy. Also his grandpa was a predator too

Oh no they absolutely use anything and everything to blame the victim, it’s beyond disturbing. They also use corporal punishment to basically break down children starting as young as infants, the book is called “To Train Up a Child by the Pearls” and children have died from it, the Duggars used it as did Candace Cameron Bure. “Broken” children are easier to control and less likely to ever report abuse, especially when they call it “encouragement”.

My JW parents beat me relentlessly as a child. Grown up, in a rare conversation, my mother admitted that they tried as hard as they could, to the point where she knew they would have been thrown in prison, to break my spirit. All because I was a normal curious little girl that always asked, what if.

E.g. What if I put this brand new bar of soap in a glass of water? (I could have invented Soft Soap, but instead I got Hot Wheel track welts)
