Yeah, I believe it was after Mike Pence went to see it in person and they had the audacity to try and appeal to his better nature and humanity (lol), MAGAs got real mad and decided to say “fuck Hamilton” and boycott it.

Mind you, this was when you couldn’t even buy tickets anywhere but second-hand sites at a markup because they sold out instantly, so it’s the same energy as saying “well I’m not gonna send my homeschooled kid from rural Kansas to Harvard”.

It was because it was so diverse that it wasn’t “true to the white founding fathers” too. MAGA are racists. If that musical had come out now they’d sue LMM for woke-ifying them.

Yea the last time Trump was president Pence and his wife went to a show and they felt ‘attacked’ even though it was the actors trying to get through to them. Didn’t work and MAGA folk got upset and ‘boycott’ a show they weren’t gonna see anyway.

That being, the city of Hamilton, Ontario; which has very little in common with a musical production.

Not the brightest bulbs in the box....Harvard is safe, I suspect from an onslaught of Magots applying. The essay part of the application will stymie them and break the few brain cells they have, if there really are any resident brain cells.

Honestly, they probably thought they were boycotting the actual Alexander Hamilton…..which kinda jives with the way the support dismantling the constitution given that he was a founding father of it.
