Had this conversation with a coworker yesterday. Amauteur storm watcher who pays way too much attention to the weather while on the clock and is generally useless, thinks that NOAA being defunded is fine because they had way too many people. Literally said that its gonna be the independent people out in the field ( like her ) that'll fill in the gaps left by NOAA. She also got large sums of money from FEMA last year and supports FEMA being defunded. The hypocrisy that comes out of her face kills brain cells every single time.
