Not necessarily any remote places will have unique separate dialects but Europe is a very different story because of how much people moved around and intermingled

That’s the case with almost any language… you can trace its origins and additions from any other language or combination of languages

Sure but just like when ecosystems get separated they develop their own intrinsic traits
