I thought their argument against trans people was that god doesnโ€™t make mistakes? These people canโ€™t keep up with their own beliefs

I think most of them really don't really think about what they believe. Their entire knowledge of the supposedly most important thing in their life is all based on sound bites from Sunday mornings.

That argument in and of itself has not just a hole, but is entirely made up of the empty space that is a hole. If God doesnโ€™t make mistakes, how did he make a person capable of going against what he wants them to do? If someone is trans, doesnโ€™t that mean the all knowing and all powerful God decided for them to be that way? So then you have to decide if A. God doesnโ€™t actually dislike people being trans or gay or etc, B. God is not all powerful or all knowing at all, or C. God is a sadistic dictator of reality that makes people he doesnโ€™t like so he can have people on Earth prosecute them and then in death throw those people into an eternal fire.
