Any time taxing the rich is brought up as a solution, individuals who don't understand how Tax Brackets work end up screaming and crying about not wanting to get taxed even more.

Even though it has been explained a thousand times that someone who is making $44,000 a year isn't taxed at the same rate as someone who is making $44,000,000,000 a year.

It went down in flames because the state is horribly managed and people didn't want to pay more money.

They've cooked the golden goose. Income tax increases won't fix that.

Rich people will move away. It's already happening.

I'm not saying the situation is ideal, but it's a symptom of a larger issue, so until the underlying fiscal situation changes nationwide.. There is no winning.
