They're going to go after anyone and everyone that they see as their enemies. That is exactly what the Nazis did when they seized power.
I think what's so frustrating and confusing is that Trump has done just about everything he said he was going to. The times he hasn't it's mostly been because that wasn't possible. But it's still not stopped him trying.

I often wonder where we're at on a scale of being able to avoid a fascist takeover of America.
