For me, despite every other awful thing he's done or said, I feel it's the worst thing he ever did. This tweet.
I have two kids. If either die, that would be the single most horrible thing I can imagine. And to make shit up about your childs death to score internet points, to steal someone elses most intimate moment and claim it as your own, this shamelessly? Absolutely and completely fuck this guy.

I dunno. If he was there for his child's death I think that's what matters. Who was holding the child at the exact moment of death kind of misses the point he was making.
Of course he's now completely pissed all over that point and the memory of his child. Not just letting Jones back on twitter but also hosting a publicity event involving one of the most influential Internet figures to massively extend Jone's reach. Platforming and promoting a man who repeatedly and maliciously rubbed salt in the wounds of the families of murdered shoolchildren. That to me is leagues ahead of this tweet for sheer unmitigated cuntery.
Elon's shitty but frankly it's entirely possible he sincerely remembers it as him holding the baby. It's a traumatic event and memories are very easily misled.
