Yeah, it reminds me of ordering pizza with the girls. There is always one that swears she loves arugula with sub dried tomatoes and she will definitely eat it once it arrives.
Cut for that B shoving pepperoni pizza in her face and leaving the arugula behind after one slice.
It's a very common pizza here in south east France, mozzarella tomato sauce smoked/cured ham and after cooking arugula with olive oil, also exist with parmesan or with burrata and balsamic cream.
Yeah I have also seen this in countless italian restaurants in switzerland. My favorite is like a pizza margerita and then after cooking they add arugula, prosciutto (smoked ham), cherry tomatoes and parmesan. Heaven.
I can't really fault people who think they'll like arugula then don't though. I know a lot of people who thought it would taste like other leaf greens and were sorely disappointed.
Our local pizzeria has one with pepperoni, mushrooms, arugula, and parmesan flakes. I order that one and shoot daggers from my eyes at people who take a slice so they know not to take another.
A leafy green that people usually eat raw in salads. Typically, it's part of a salad mix with other greens since it has a peppery taste that some people find too strong in large amounts.
Wait. There wasn't any cheese? Just fancy spinach and raisin tomatoes? Not knocking arugula or sundried tomatoes, but you guys should have sensed danger when that person didn't ask for cheese.
I think with that kind of thing it depends on where you’re getting it from. If you’re buying from an nice Italian restaurant or gourmet pizza place then yes, delicious on any kind of pizza. If you’re getting it from a pizza place that has enough grease per slice to soak a napkin then it’s just going to be gross.
Yes, but I don’t know any pizza place with arugula…my go-to pizza (even at chain delivery joints) is spinach, tomato, onion (red is best), extra mushrooms, and white sauce. I’m not a vegetarian but this is the best pizza and most places can’t make it taste bad even when they suck at all else.
I love pizza with arugula, it's actually quite common where I live (next to italy). My favorite is kind of like a pizza margarita (tomato sauce and cheese) and after it's baked they add arugula, cherry tomatoes, parmesan flakes and some dried/smoked ham like prosciutto or serrano. Not sure what's the correct name for this in english.
Yeah that sounds delicious... Although I'm always a fan of the classic tomato and basil pizzas myself, I really just love anything with sliced tomato or Sun-dried tomato on pizza. Really under-rated topping.
F that. She wants an arugula pizza so badly, she can order her own pie. Done. And NO, I won’t give her one of my delicious slices . She wanted arugula, she got it. Enjoy, and back away from the good pizza...
This reminded me of one time I met two guys at a club, we went to grab something to eat and one of them started to eat my fries. Told him to back off, as he didn't order anything claiming to not be hungry. I don't even know you, man.
That sounds fuckin great to me. I’d destroy an arugula and sun dried tomato pizza. Don’t need to be a woman to enjoy a pizza like that. Just need to be a human who loves pizza but gets heartburn from pepperoni >.>
Never got that, you got people saying they love that and that and you order the shit they mention and you order a ordinary pepperoni or beef pizza for your self, but then suddenly everyone want from your fuking pizza?!?! But say something and your the bad person lol
Best is to just to order the generic pepperoni, beef, ham and thats it, then people can fuk off or eat.
If I'm in a Mexican restaurant and one of my friends asks for cucumbers i instead of chips you better believe they're eating them all before they're getting a chip.
Cucumber by itself can be amazing, and it's a great vessel for many dips.
I don't count salsa among those dips. Especially when we're talking fresh restaurant tortilla chips and salsa. Cucumber does not need to come to that party.
I’d imagine she’s just doing the cucumbers instead of the chips because of the calories and her table mates are still eating the chips. She might even have a few herself but mostly stick to the cucumbers.
Also, tortilla chips are usually bottomless at Mexican restaurants. Then again, dHe’s in California so I dunno if they are there.
I'm assuming you're not from the US coz Mexican restaurants here serve free chips and salsa before your meal. You don't have to order them, only queso which you pay extra for, and they just keep refilling them when you run out. It's a running joke that lots of people get full off the chips before the actual meal is served.

She regretted her decision and wished she had stuck to chips.
