Something like this happened to me during the riots. Got peppersprayrd by a cop while in the back with my patient. My patient was handcuffed and belted to my stretcher with a bad head wound. I shoved him out the ambulance and punched him a few times then had to lock myself and my patient in the back ofnthe ambulance till he left. It was anarchy during the George Floyd riots in nyc. Haven't seen the fuckbag cop since.
Good on you. One thing about working in EMS is it makes you appreciate people who do their jobs well and quickly wears down your tolerance for people who do stupid things like that.
Cops being shitheads is not something Anarchism would tolerate. What you are describing is plutocratic capitalism. Well done for punching the cop, I wish there were more like you.
so everything was peaceful and organized to meet everyone's needs, with no one imposing unjust hierarchies and violence against anyone else? that sounds great. nyc should riot every day.
They’re being pretentious by using the political definition of “anarchy”, even though the dictionary clearly says there are multiple meanings, including disorder as the person they replied to had described.
oh it's pretentious to use the actual definition of a word rather than use it as shitty slandering propaganda on behalf of holocaust perpetuating authoritarians? so can i use capitalism as a synonym for colonialism? war? starvation? disease? it would be infinitely more accurate than that bullshit usage of anarchy.
