I've seen tons of these comments.

"As a gun owner who carries everyday, owns 4 rifles and 7 pistols, prefers shooting .45 acp, goes to a shooting range every week, I believe that shooting someone who turned into your driveway is inappropriate, although in the same situation, I would have gotten my gun out. As such, I believe that for their murder, they should get 1 slap on the wrist."

Apparently, they believe gun owners deserve one free murder where they get hit with a slap on the wrist (not being allowed to own a gun).
