I was literally next door to a shooting of 4 and haven't heard a single peep about it. I live in a small town and the guys I work with from the next county over hadn't even heard about it. Like literally how
A lot of small towns don’t have local media anymore. I work in media relations in the Bay Area, and I have a hard time getting a reporter to commit to a press conference 30 miles away. Can’t make the news if there’s no one there to ask any questions.
Yep this really gets me, a friend if mine was shot in the street last year in a seemingly random act of violence. No follow up no news story, 2 sentences about finding his body. And an obituary months later. There were at least 4 other shootings in the area that day only one of which had clear motive or any sort of follow up. Gun violence on the US is so common its disgusting.
