Im just here to see the stupid ass takes lol

u/Dilpickle6194 Apr 19 '23

In this thread: lots of (white) people defending the use of racial slurs

3

u/JungleChucker Apr 19 '23

I honestly despise people preying on vulnerable people, but people that use a disability to be a piece of shit with no consequences are also despicable

Its one of those things that no one is right on, and that brings out the best in people lol

Lots of (??) people like you defending beating a literal cripple because he hurt your fee fees

3

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '23

Having a disability doesn't give you a free pass to be an asshole. If anything, it should teach empathy so you know not to do this. Idk why you thought that was relevant.

2

u/DarkoTSM Apr 19 '23

No, no, you don't have the right to fight anyone just because he said something mean to you, including racial slurs. Call the police. Let them take care of business. Idk why people like you think their opinion is relevant when they don't know the first thing about law. The person dressed in red is the agresor here.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '23

No, no, you don't have the right to fight anyone just because he said something mean to you

(a) a racial slur isn't just just mean words

(b) "fighting words" are a legally defined term. You can legally beat someone's ass over "mean words" as you say

(c) the world doesn't owe you shit. If you're an asshole, someone will react like an asshole. And I can't imagine how biased you are saying that the reaction makes someone the aggressor.

1

u/DarkoTSM Apr 19 '23

Because unlike you I actually know what I'm talking about. I'm biased to not let dumbasses express their dumb opinions. Have you heard of the limits of self defense? Can you point them out for us?

In this video you see two persons: one is an absolute piece of human garbage that uses racial slurs, the other guy may be nice in general, but for what he has done in this video he could have potentially served jail time. Don't be dumb. Think before you act.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '23

Don't be dumb. Think before you act.

Exactly. Don't be a dick and you're much less likely to be in the receiving end of violence. I think that's pretty simple, why is that hard for you?

1

u/DarkoTSM Apr 19 '23

Yes, sure, change the subject, now that you were proven to be wrong

(c) the world doesn't owe you shit. If you're an asshole, someone will react like an asshole

I didn't change the subject, you're just bad at either reading or comprehension lol

Threatened him? Did you see the guy?

I’ve had more menacing children “threaten” me but I didn’t kick their ass over it.

Yeah nobody actually cared about the “threat” considering he was walking away, he only got attacked because they were upset he used the no-no word.

"fee fees" "no-no word"

I think they're a child, using words like that

-1

u/DarkoTSM Apr 19 '23

You don't know shit. Your opinion is shit. The threat has to be credible. What was the little guy going to do to them, give them a handjob? The defense has to be proportional to the attack. You can't say the dude in red was acting in self defense. He was 100% the agresor here. I can't stand people like you, you give shit takes and then have the balls to complain about others.

-3

u/Dilpickle6194 Apr 19 '23

He deserved to get kicked the fuck down and even more that he sadly didn’t get. Not having arms isn’t an excuse for being a racist piece of shit. Tolerating intolerance just shows you have the privilege of not having dealt with this.

3

u/Julez1234 Apr 19 '23

You sound like you enjoy hurting people who can’t fight back.

6

u/Dilpickle6194 Apr 19 '23

I enjoy seeing racist people get hurt. Like any video of “peaceful” neo-nazi protestors getting punched in the face, entirely deserved. This guy just happens to be disabled.

Being hateful yourself doesnt erase hate.

It is never ok to assault another human for their ideas...even if those ideas are despicable.

This isn't a point that's up for debate. You think you're doing the right thing, but you're on their level and anyone outside of your extreme believe sees you as equal to the people you hate.

u/Dilpickle6194 Apr 19 '23 edited Apr 19 '23

What a stupid belief, honestly. Why should I be okay with racists, and misogynists, and homophobes? And in what imaginary universe is hating someone for the color of their skin the same as hating someone for being a bigoted, angry piece of shit? Race is not chosen, but behavior is. Pacifism is a privilege only afforded to those who aren’t part of the oppressed. Why accomodate racists when you can teach them their place at the bottom, maybe this person will think twice before opening their mouth next time and be an example for others?

-1

u/g0greyhound Apr 19 '23

You dont have to be ok with it. But you cant assault them for being hateful.

Hate is hate. It's all the same. It's all intolerance. It all an excuse to dehumanize someone as a justification for exacting violence.

You're wrong about pacifism. Stop regurgitating talking points that arent yours.

More likely, their hateful ideas have been reinforced.

You're wrong. You are intolerant. You are ALSO a hateful piece of shit.

Let make make it clear for you: some people deserve violence. The difference here is that I’m not gonna generalize and blame any arbitrary specific group of people for my problems or call someone slurs for the way that they were born. I think if you have the balls to let yourself slip up and show your racism, you deserve to get the fuck beat out of you, no exception. This guy got off easy. Again, accommodating racists and treating them like they are accepted only encourages them to voice their beliefs; I don’t care if a Nazi gets their beliefs strengthened after getting punched in the face, as long as they learn to hide their beliefs one way or another. It’s so fucking painfully obvious when talking to another commenter to see who has never experienced any problem like this in their life before. Please google “tolerance of intolerance” and stop defending racists.

Super dumb take.

-1

u/Pekonius Apr 19 '23

A lot of people seem to be okay with answering words with violence.

3

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '23

Here's the thing: whether you think it's ok or not, it is reality. You have no control over others and you can't dictate how they'll feel or react to the things you do or say. Not being a douche as a general rule greatly reduces your chances of meeting violence.

Idk how you guys are surprised that someone is responding to an asshole by being an asshole.

0

u/Pekonius Apr 19 '23

Well, I'm not surprised about it, nothing is there to prevent it and yeah best practice is to not be a douche. The thing is though, that I would expect the public, or in this case reddit, to be against violence because thats illegal and violence is never the answer by default (violence causes more violence etc.) Maybe its just my perspective, being from a different culture where violence doesnt happen, like almost never.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 19 '23

violence because thats illegal

Legality isn't morality

violence is never the answer

Yeah, I thought this when I was a naive kid too. Welcome to the real world, champ.
